Can we have an element of 3.1 SOONER so we have something to do?

After hearing 3.1 is scheduled to be released in November, I was very disappointed. Sure the devs deserved a vacation, everyone does, but this 5 month gap is pretty bad. So my suggestion/desire is to see some sort of element that's scheduled for 3.1 released in an earlier patch so we have something to work on, the relic, minion battles... SOMETHING. HW didn't offer much end game wise aside from alex and law farming, and the game is getting very stale.

We love you devs and hope you had a great vacation, but give us a little taste of something please!

Pretend that chocobo racing just came out and actually bother to breed a top level racing chocobo.

My best advice for those of you looking forward to the next stuff: Get all the minions! They could be very useful soon. They come from a large variety of content and that should ease your lack of variety issues, if you have them, and you get minion rewards, so, hey, why not?

People should be leveling those gatherers.

Yes, it's extremely painful. Listen to some audiobooks or watch a movie while you do it.
You only have to level three classes and with leves it's so quick. That and with blue scrip turn ins I pretty much blinked through my last three/four levels on all of them.

I just wanted some PLD QoL stuff. :( It's staying on that back burner a bit longer I guess.

Wait, its coming in November for real? Um...that is like..first the HW delay now this? Think I am gonna unsub until then, or resub never if I find something else of interest ._.

It's still not as bad as WoW's usual 6 month to a year and a half with no patches, so I have no complaints.

You have never had to delay stuff in your personal life due to some unforeseen happenings or really had to take a time out?

Plus I thought you had gone back to XI like you said, as you have complained a lot in ARR and HW :/

I just want 4 things.

Increase Dungeon XP.

Increase Kill XP/Fate XP.

Add XP to level 50 content.

Add Aetherochemical Research Facility to Expert Roulette.

I want High Level Roulette to drop some exp so there's a reason to run those awesome dungeons :(.

non-leveling DF roulette giving out exp will be great.

That fix to mudra-lag they mentioned ... although I'm fine if they delayed that if it means it'll be polished

Most importantly, relic to give us all something to do and to stimulate the economy a bit

See this is why you shouldn't rush through content the day it is released... I just hit 60 last week. So I still have ex and Alexander to figure out... As well as I never did coil or some of the older exs still. Plus crafting/gathering and finishing all the other relics I haven't done yet.

It won't happen.
They've said before that the way they put out release builds (patches) is through branching off from a main branch of development (i assume only hotfixes are the exception) and that each time they do it they need to do QA testing, etc. Basically were they to release 1 portion of it ( say the lords of verminion thing) it would further delay the patch that would bring the rest in.. so yeah
What i don't understand is why don't they release balance tweaks more often and im not just talking about class stuff, say tweaks like having lvl 50 dungeons give exp or adjusting the mgp gains like they've talked about , etc. This stuff doesn't really need any QA and doesn't require much time to implement after you figured out what changes you want to make (basically changing some numbers in their database or code), but oh well.

If it took you three months to hit 60 (which I find unbelievable), why do you almost have three level 60's on your lodestone?

If you're gonna White Knight at least do it properly I mean seriously lol.

Maybe they leveled up those jobs simultaneously? Maybe they don't play this game 24/7 due to time constraints? Maybe you're just a jackass?

Why should I level all jobs to 60 when we have lockouts on everything? Most likely I will be using only my main to do anything relevant at end game. Besides raiding is supposed to be targeted for 1% or so of player base meaning 99% of players got nothing to do.

SE could have released Void Ark , or the airship thing....at least , so ppl could at least be entertained meanwhile....

I was hoping they'd give people something...the game is so empty now, its very weird to see places with people I can count on one hand...

I mean, I'm leveling other jobs and found stuff to do but I don't think these people are comin back this time :( (the missing 60+ people in my fc)

I've almost got MCH to 60, only class I really want a 60 atm, haven't logged in a while not even for Eso.

3.1 can't come soon enough, hopefully it will renew a bit of interest in me, because I hope to gear my MCH with Eso gear (dat look) and if the relic grind isn't too RNG dependant, get me my SCH and MCH relics.

It's not that far away. FFXIV is actually updated pretty well compared to some MMO's, just be patient :) Plus there's actually a ton of content in the game, just not content that personally appeals to you.

Greetings fellaz ! I have played WOW for like 10 years so far and I have stopped my subscription with it a little more than a month ago. I wanna add that I played FF14 way before Heavensward as a paladin. Honestly, WOW is dying whether people agree or not. Its extansions are so messed up because of their story and the fact that NPCs are more important than the heroes themselves. Unlike FF14. I agree that FF14 is a bit on a standby atm however, I believe we have much more to do in FF14 than WOW by the end of the extansion. You only have to look and choose. I for one am a fighter so I find more enjoyable to go on dungeons, guidhests and so on. However, I'm a bit lazy about crafts and gathering jobs ; so this the best moment for people like me to get serious about that :D

As if DR is the only way to level up.
If you don't like the chance to get Sastasha, then choose a specific dungeon at your level (and earn some gear for the job).

Sure, if SE remove the drop items until 3.1, or people would complain that they have nothing to do before 3.2 again.
