I'd like to see a "design a face" because the ones we have for humans at the moment suck. As for the facial hair, can SE watch Lord of the Rings to see what it can look like please?

In truth it was who ever was on the last page of selection seeing as how come square enix goofed the announcing of cruical rules and told no one about them until 2 days after voting had been happening.

You should feel "congratulations" because, whether you like the winners or not, the entrants did not choose themselves to win first place.

Same. Of the ones SE selected, that one was my favorite and it looked the most unique to me.

Pretty much called it before voting even began. Voted for the art rather than the style, no surprise at all. What a joke.

Amazing designs! Congrats to all of them! I personally my fave was Joel's entry. Pretty neat

I didn't think i was going to like the male winner after the reactions on the forum but i quite like the male winner. Will try it out.

Well they kinda didn't win fairly -_- They won cause they where on the last page of voting coupled with Square not announcing said crucial rule of the Last Vote is all that counts. Kinda gave the last page hairstyles an unfair advantage which helped them win. IF you look at raw numbers the winners would be different.

Fine, but that's still not their fault. They didn't say "Hey SE put us on the last page so the votes will count for us only".

What I'm saying is it's fine to get mad at SE for their own contest and how it was handled. It's not fine, however, to blame the winners whose only contribution was submitting an entry.

So much butthurt in this thread lol. That side ponytail for girls looks the best out of all the side ponytail designs.

Aye Sorry if I sounded like I'm blaming them I don't mean to, I'm just rather salty that a hairstyle that had 6544 likes is second place to one that 6191 cause square can't announce their rules in an intelligent manor like ohh I don't know putting said rules on the voting page >.< to me it kinda feels like Square chose the winner themselves because its not the likes that count but what was liked the last which to me just comes off as We'll chose what the numbers are :C.

There were so many side ponytails and one of the one people are crying about is a side ponytail XD.

I can't see myself using the female hairstyle on my roe, it all depends on the fringe to be honest...I'm so used to having the majority of her forehead covered that I feel she looks wierd without a huge fringe now >.<

The male one however...hmm I feel it could look amazing on one of my men...but I'll need to see it action first!

True. Hopefully they do a contest like this again, but better managed.

i wished what the first runer-up winned over the actual female hairstile winner... to me that hair stile(even if is not exactly that much similar) looks like lithining hairstile...., so yeah, no hair change for me

I agree, it has similarities with Lightning's hair...wonder if that swayed things, because everyone is so desperate to for that event again...for like the 1000th time.

The reason why theres so much 'butthurt' is quiet easy to explain:
1: Square Enix FAILED to clearly state the voting rules in a clear and concise manor or an easy to find area that only the last Like counted.
2: That the hairstyle that came first hard 6191 and the hairstyle that came 2nd had 6544, because of said unclear rule.

Sadly, thats exactly what it was :/ Based on skill rather than creativity. I'm sure there were plenty that were more creative but not drawn as well. Notice how all the ones SE showed in the live letter and the finalists, all being extremely well drawn, but most were bland.

Also, no change for my au ra. All the good ones that could have won and but that one did :/

Nobody in the contest sucked, all entries were very well done and are probably more artistic than anything most people draw. But damn if i don't feel irritated that the most bland hairstyle(compared to others) got picked for the win. The Runner ups were so well done.

Somehow I glad this hair win lol... Because other hair for highlander is really not suit well IMO

Congrats to the winners... though that hairstyle would not look good on my Roegadyn at all.

I think that male hair only suits well for Elezen so they can become Ser Aymeric... (Won't looks good for me lol... )

For female, that flower is really a nice add-on rather plain.

Whee! Another ponytail...

Yeah I'm not thrilled about a side ponytail with an accessory... Tired of the accessories being everywhere. lol Can't change the color, likely, so whatever color they implement it is the one you get. Or if they add multiple colors. I would have liked to have seen something different; I would have voted for a curly one, but the only one that was close to that was the big wavy one.
