Thanks for solo dungeons!

I love doing dungeons in a group, but being able to solo them really adds something to the game, for three reasons.
The first is that it makes the world bigger, and more connected. When you have to wait in a queue to enter a place, it does not feel like a part of the game world. With a soloable instance, you can simply walk to it and enter it, with the usual loading screen. Just another zone in the world.
The second is that it adds a single-player game experience. You fight scary monsters on your own, and are the tank and healer of yourself. That really kicks in when you start to have challenging solo encounters. My fight with Isgebind at the end of Stone Vigil ranks among the most fun I ever had in a game. It also gives even more meaning to becoming stronger. The stronger you are, the higher level dungeons you can tackle.
The third is you can really explore dungeons, stop when you wish to, look around, smell the roses. :)

You are not wrong at all! I would go as far to say that it makes the book portion of the Relic hunt pretty fun. But I found that I couldn't solo Pharos Sirius (#sadface).

Hmmm... I haven't solo'd any yet, even though I'm a i175 BRD. But I think you just convinced me too :D

Real speed runs. Sastasha in roughly 6 minutes. Haukke Manor in roughly 8 minutes. Finally soloed Tam Tara HM. Its good to have around if you get bored to run a few just to see how fast they can be done. Recently switched one of my retainers to GLA, gearing her up with dungeon loot has been a cinch. Lost City though I found to be impossible to solo, once you get sucked into the gut its all over.

I've been having fun farming dungeons solo for minions I never won in parties.

I really enjoy doing solo at Halatali HM for Zodiac farm but I kinda have issue to run at other HM dungeon lol :p

How are you able to solo these lol?

Easily the best addition with Heavensward, hope they actually go back and start adding less linear dungeons as a result. Let parties run through as quickly as possible, I'd gladly go through the side passages and look for secret passages (please add secret passages that aren't on the map!) solo. Only two things I'd really like them to do;

Let us enter with an Undersized Party in recent content, pretty disappointing that we can't enter Heavensward stuff solo...
Let us EXP with an Undersized Party if we're also Level Synced, again, pretty disappointing that I can't EXP solo/duo, being forced to rely on random people for EXP dungeons, when I know full well most can be duo'd, has always annoyed me with this game...

Yes, yes, and yes! I agree %100 with your points, It's been a blast since they added the ability to not only go solo but unsynced which I've used to help out newer players with older content, I've used to solo dungeons when switching GCs, and a fun challenge I did was solo Garuda HM ^^

I kinda wish monsters had a different aggro pattern when entering the dungeon solo, though.

For example, if I'm lv30ish and want to do Toto-Rak by myself, I can't because mobs still link in groups and overwhelm me.
While instead if I go as a lv50+, they STILL aggro me, even though they give no exp at all or spiritbond increase. I feel I should just be able to run up to the boss and not bother with monsters that really do nothing but decay my equipment.

Dunno, just my thoughts.

I tried to solo the 2.0 Finale in Praetorium since I was forced into missing out on CSes during my first clear, and wanted to take my time and revisit them...

But it's actually IMPOSSIBLE to do because of the Boss Fight with Nero and the damn hands that come and knock you around everywhere :(

Disappointing that one lame mechanic stops progress like that.

How so ? I really can't figure how the hands would kill anyone.

The only real issue I had in soloing has been against the boss in the ruins of Amdapor, when that goobue swallows you... : /
