What do you like or not like about your server?

Just curious

Siren is a awesome server... has all my friends there, many of them from a previous game.

The name, which is why I picked it.

Hyperion : is cool, people have helped me a lot, but if I don't yell for the whole world to hear it, the community is pretty dead:( I guess I just need more friends to play with lol

But you seem to be located on Kujata.

Sargatanas: So many friends. So many friendly people. In my circles, people don't tend to take things TOO seriously which is great. Fun comes first, but I'm still friends with a lot of endgamers etc. too. Downsides? No housing left, RMT. Same as anywhere I guess.

Zalera is super friendly. There aren't too many people so you see a lot of familiar names and if you need help, most people will come running if you ask.

Lich is cool. I like how it isn't overrun.. but big enough to not always have RMT since I never get any tells anymore.

Tonberry: Crowded, but always stuff to do since plenty of people to find. and JP server, being i despise RMT tells with a passion it's very peaceful here.

Previous server: Mateus: Horrible server endgame wise, it just didn't exist. and the very rare times you would find a group for anything EX fight and above was a pure wipe Fest 99% of the time before HW. it hasn't really improved much since then, as there is now a grand total of 2 groups that even have reached A3S..

Been trying to convince a freind still there to move but he won't abandon his group, which is understandable, but he is very unhappy there. Not much i can do.

Behemoth... because it's named after my favorite creature in the Final Fantasy series, the behemoth.

Shinryu, so many nice community here even with gaijin (my 2 fc neighbor and me on mist 19-21 in front of beach become family yay!), no troll and no insta-vote kick when you do something wrong instead of explain how to do it. Price is cheap for low population and no RMT).

I love Coeurl but the only thing I dislike is the startling lack of FemRoes. I don't have many sisters here :(

That's not just a Coeurl problem. Plenty of male Roegadyn around here, a good deal of them being gay, but there's also a severe lack of the opposite sex.

They're just not very popular, it seems. :(

My server is what I think most people would classify as mid-population. It's great. It has a healthy mix of people doing different things - PF has people doing Hunts, Treasure Maps, advertising crafting services, FATES, Savage PUGs and advertisements for statics, Extreme Primal farms and general shenaniganry. Decently healthy crafter/gatherer marketplace, although I think most people are catching on to the fact that crafting in Heavensward is just a huge pyramid scheme, so there's been a bit of downswing in the market.

Downsides? Small enough to have quite a few RMT bots spamming you non-stop (Can get up to 10 tells/min - pretty terrible since I have friends who aren't in my FC and their tells get mixed up when I'm trying to have a conversation with them). Sometimes becomes pretty dead during the middle of the week but picks up again later when the weekend approaches.

We have plenty of Male Roes over here too, my husband being one of them. I really wish us FemRoes were more popular. I do understand why we're not though. We're too "masculine" for some folks. They prefer their waifus Miqo'te and Au Ra.

Gilgamesh: Pretty diverse crowds with hard core raiders, RPers, casuals and end game crafter/gatherers very and there's a steady stream of new players. Though it seems to slowly being very raid-focused server

Balmung: Occasional server-wide events created by RPers

Horribly unimaginative Search Comments.
90% of people simply use it to show off with having cleared old content / unrelevant content.

It's as though people think you can brag and feel nice about casual acchievements, yet it's the most whide-spread thing on Cerberus / all EU servers(?)

At least put up your Alex Savage progression, if anything.

I hate the economy

I like the players, and the economy. That being said, the only thing I hate, is one FC in particular, that thrives on trolling and causing strife. They seem to reside in Mist, Ward 2.

Actually the thing I like and don't like is the same thing! The lack of English speakers is the biggest issue on Shiva =(

But it's also great that we have people from so many different places! I just wish I could communicate more with them but I don't speak the server's dominant language, German T_T The diversity is fantastic though, my fc alone has people from the UK, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, France, Ireland, Belgium, Finland, Canada, Australia and probably even more that I don't know yet =D

Echoing what was said about Zalera, small but very nice community. Not as raid active as some though but people manage to get things done regardless.

I don't like how many hoops you have to jump through to play on Balmung

Tonberry ftw! It's crowded since most of Oceanic players come over here including myself and the queue time on DF is so much better than my previous servers. The JP community is awesome towards everyone too.

My reason to choose world is kinda .. Nonsense .. Lets go step by step
1)I plan to go for NA server so i chose the coolest datacenter name ..for me its Primal datacenter(Aether sounds empty .. Chaos sounds .. chaos..)
2)I plan to choose the server with Most Feminine name .. Because its online game and the server with Feminine name MIGHT attract er .. More girls than guys ? Anyway,Lamia = Snake Girl ..so yeah .. Feminine ..

Damn,this is embarassing.

Like:
I like how active my server is. I also like that it has a little bit of everything; RP, PvP, PvE, Raiding, ect. If you wanna do it, you can find people to help.
Dislike:
I hate the freaken /random casino people. I don't want to see it in the PF or spammed in /shout, /yell, /say every 1-5 minutes. Almost as bad as the RMT. >.>

I like: My friends, the name, my house.
Dislike: Elitists, How quiet it is, lack of FC's that interest me, the tiny tiny LGBT community, and some of the people I have encountered >.>

If I could convince all my friends to drop money on server switch...I'd be totes happy, so we could still all be together.

With my server, it's easier to DF than it is to PF 90% of the time. Also very rarely do people like to think outside the box here, but I suppose that's the same everywhere.

I like the size. It's not too populated but definitely never too empty. People have great attitudes overall and--at least at the moment--the "elitist" population is the minority. Most people on my server seem to be casual players.

Not that I haven't run into the assholes too but judging from some of the stories I've heard I consider myself pretty lucky.

Theres always drama if you know where to look or who to watch

also cause my forum buddies are here and causing chaos is easy

Diabolos is pretty chill for the most part - got my pals here, pretty decent mix of other people and the economy is fair imo :cool:

Cerberus gave me a totally amazing newbie time with the game. I met a couple of people in the closed beta and we all decided we'd go to Cerberus for p4. Had a blast playing with them and others I met on the server after release and it was a huge part of what made me stay with the game.

Nowadays, I guess it's got a nice, balanced playerbase nationality-wise and a good economy. Not a lot of RMT going on, haven't had /tells or friend requests in a long time. I've left three FCs because of elitism and drama and am currently drifting around solo, not really doing a whole lot until 3.1.

I switched from Famfrit to Ultros for a rl friend of mine. As much as I miss my old fc (shout out to the 420th Flame Legion:D) the economy seems like it's in better shape and df and pf are much more active.

I'm on Zodiark

My only dislikes are it can sometimes seem a little quiet and the community seems small, you often see the same people stood about the towns every day. There isn't a lot going on in the PF either apart from fate groups or pony farms.

However everyone I've come across has been very nice and there isn't a lot of RMT at all. I get maybe 1 tell a week and while there are bots stood at the marketboard in Limsa /shouting etc you can easily blacklist them and not be bothered for the rest of the day.

I like it overall.

no one here from jenova? well been on jenova since beta and its been great. my wife an I play here and don't have any serious complaints. I guess mainly because we belong to a great fc

Hey brother/sister,

I imagine you a machinist drifting in Sagoli Desert in Southern Thanalan no clue why, maybe remembering WildArms 3.

But Drifting alone can be good though not when you prolong it.

And if you want an invite to my FC just /tell me ingame and I'll invite you, we're pretty much casual and chill.

I love how active Gilgamesh is and how generally nice the people there are. There's a nice balance of casual and endgame players, making it easy to find groups for whatever you want to do. Just the other day my FC was able to get together a server-wide alliance for the CT gauntlet in less than half an hour because a friend had just unlocked it and wanted to run them. I'm very happy with the community here.

Gilgamesh is a nice place and full of people. Sometimes funny stuff happens too like the time when the fat chocobo came out and everyone was crowding around mor dhona with it. Or when the PF is filled up with song lyrics. xD

But I hate the casinos that usually flood up the Party Finder and aeythernite.
