Duty Roulette: Raids

I think it would great to implement a new addition to the daily Duty Roulette list,
Duty Roulette: Raids.

It could pull from the player's currently unlocked raids list and, we could have both a 50 and 60 version.

Level 50 version: Duty Roulette: ARR Raids

Labyrinth of the Ancients
Syrcus Tower
The World of Darkness
Binding Coil/ T1 - T5
Second Coil/ T6 - T9
Final Coil/ T10 - T13

Rewards: Exp. for players over level 50, Allagan Tomestones respective to the players level and Gil.

Level 60 version: Duty Roulette: HW Raids

All of the Level 50 version
Alexander- The Fist of the Father
Alexander- The Cuff of the Father
Alexander- The Arm of the Father
Alexander- The Burden of the Father

Rewards: Allagan Tomestones of Law, Allagna Tomestones of Esoterics and
a random Alexander Token, i.e.; Bolt, Pedal, Shaft, Spring, et cetera...

I think that this would be a great addition to the game and, would make veteran players more accessible.

I'd separate the Coils (8-player party) from the CT (24-player party) raids, IMO.

It's already hard (read: near impossible) to queue into CT raids as it is, and introducing a "general"
Duty Roulette: Raids would make matters worse (because the Coil would be the most likely thing to come up, considering it needs less players).
Similar as to how Duty Roulette: Guildhests works (the last Guildhest, which needs a FULL party instead of a LIGHT party, almost never comes up making it difficult to queue for).

If anything, I'd expand on your idea and create both, a Duty Roulette: Crystal Tower and Duty Roulette: Coil of Bahamut.

I really like this suggestion. I understand the Cons that you mentioned and, I agree that it would have to be separated as you stated.

although it sounds wonderful on paper. tbh i feel like this would be something everyone would avoid like the plague. example when Steps of Faith was put in trials, everyone refused to touch trial roulette. a binding coil of bahamut roulette would most likely turn out the worst of the bunch, since by default theyd add a lvl sync as well as possibly an item lvl, and i dont think ANYONE would attempt a roulette final coil with those stipulations. and at the current time, the towers are not even being touched in DF. everyone who DOES, ends up with a waiting period of an hour or more.

You got people who can't even do Titan hard with Echo and expect them to do coil raid content?

Yay more requests for this. Think this is the idk Nth thread on this. Hopefully we get a few different raid roulettes going. I'd like a drcoil, drextrials, dr24mans and so on.

I would be happy to do it if it's strictly crystal tower or 24 man raid. Coil is hard and it will prove to be difficult to tackle with randoms. Of course I might be wrong we all remember the criticized received by trials roulette (Titan HM was the most difficult thing) but with echo it was doable and with over gearing it became mild difficulty if anything.

Pretty much this..

I wouldn't go near any of it because its absolutely not worth the hassle and mostly likely a lock out on my DF to even attempt it. Heck i still don't touch trial roulette because i still get people who can't do Titan or Chrystalis or Steps of Faith and its a waste of my time to even bother anymore because its always with people who don't speak English so i can't even explain! I can get better rewards with a nice relaxing game of PVP with friends and not want to kill myself...

I'd only ever think about attempting any of this if there was no lv sync so i don't have to rely on randoms actually being good players... even then, the mechanics will probably screw us over if they don't know them and i still wouldn't bother :p

Well I and a friend often pick 5 random EXs and coils and DF them up. We swap each time we do one and the other person picks 5, and to spice it up we also pick each others jobs. Can be fun and can be furstrating but it's something to do. And this should be party queue-able.

Unless they allowed people to go in at 60 or have echo increased. As a roulette it would simply be for people to experience story or go for glams/tomes. You can already undersized it why not make a df roulette that makes finding a group easier. Just my opinion tho

You could say that about anything. Can you believe that titan hm is to hard for some df groups? It's a roulette after all. Would be nice to have a chance at that t11 caster coat again

It is I just got Titan HM 30 or so min ago and myself and a SCH were the only 2 left living by the end. But of course the other 6 all experienced lag the minute they got blown off the edge. They would honestly need some substantial reward in place if this was ever to be implemented like bahamut mount or something after 200 or so roulettes to make a lot of people beat their heads against a wall doing this
