Anyone looking for a DRK Living Dead macro, here is what I use

Make sure to spam se.6 and se.1 in particular.

I want a Living Dead macro and it's not like Berserk, when you need it you NEED THEM TO NOTICE. What's a healthy balance to strike between the obtrusiveness of a macro but a couple lines of text half the community gets huffy about reading?

Healer with a DRK in static here. The living dead icons are very distinct and high priority on the party list. That's really all that's needed. If you really must use a macro... Keep it a short, sweet & and simple one line that isn't passive aggressive like the OP's. If you must use a sound effect, keep it to one of the short and less obtrusive ones.

If you're on Teamspeak, just say something there.

Personally I use:
/p "You can't kill the {Living Dead}!"
/ac "Living Dead"

Generally aside from a premade group if you're forced into using Living Dead it was because the heals weren't there to begin with. Meaning, you're going to die after the 10-20 seconds are up anyway. An overly complicated macro won't serve you any purpose then.
Also, why do you still have Convalescence on CD if you're using Living Dead? Why didn't you blow it and your other CDs before using the worst panic button in the game?

Works best if you use it after the healers are already dead.

Or my favourite; popping it too late. Wistfully staring at my embarrassing chatlog messege. An unpopped Living Dead hotkey icon tormenting my conscience. My pokerface, being put to a purpose so true. The next 10 seconds stretches to an eternity as I wait fully expectant of a condemning "wtf f***ing tank" to bring the final shattering blow to my ignominious fall from form. Ironically I the tank, have then become the least capable of defending myself. Another key member then ejects himself from the group. As the numbers follow by swiftly dwindling, I ponder what might have been.

And then I requeue and don't do it again.

I actually have used it twice in pickup groups and lived. With my usual healer it obviously isn't an issue. I like the "You can't kill the living dead" suggestion, thanks.

I have a holmgang macro I use every now I'm then for lulz usually only when I know I'm gonna die anyways.

Usually only use it once or twice and gets a few laugh so I like it.

It's not a bad idea to let the Healer know you need to be topped off when using Living Dead. As a Scholar I had two DRK's die on me because I didn't know what it did. So I'd get them close to full then start healing DPS. Then the third time it got used the DRK used a macro that warned he needed to be topped off and I was like 'OOOOOOOH'
