Only 25 each? That doesn't seem like a lot. :x

And none of the ones they teased in the Live Letter were there (or at least not that I noticed?). I really liked some of those too.

I'm gutted that the Live Letter ones are not included....they were miles better than some of the ones we can vote for :/

I can't find a good one for males, but female #8 and #21 looks good IMO.

I really hope they decide to pick the top 3, some of the ones that i liked are a bit behind in votes i think a top 3 would be nicer.

Some of those choices are really strange.
I like male 1, 21 and female 25.

But does that mean for the counting of votes for winning hairstyle, or for the winning the scarf? >.< I wish they'd clarified it a bit more.

Could we please get an official statement of which it is?

It's currently a point of confusion here. It seems that we're permitted to vote for as many styles as we like, but the part you referenced is in relation to entries for the Scarf of Wondrous Wit.

They seem to be indicating that it's x1 entry per person for the Scarf Sweepstakes to keep people from liking every single entry for 50 chances.

I could be wrong - I'd prefer to have a Dev poke their head in and let us know.

i cant seem to find mine anywhere i dont see it at all, i followed all the rules but 25 seems to few anyone know whats going on??? i spent 10 hours on my drawing this is just bull

These are only the top 25 of each category. :( A lot of entries were eliminated.

They forgot to post all the screenshots of Ysayle ;)

Ahhh, that's subjective, but I know how you feel. Mine got tossed out too, but that's the nature of these contests. :)

I wish they separated the entry based on race.
Some of these hairstyles just won't look good on some races. *looks at highlander and sighs deeply*

It far outshines the ones we can vote on....How did some of these hairstyles even make it to the top of the list, much less even be considered. Additionally, where are the vast majority of the ones depicted in the live letter?

Perhaps we, as a community, should hold them accountable for the ones they depicted initially and vote on those aswell

I know that voting only began and that everyone has their own opinion but uhh I can't help but notice that the leading hairstyles for men so far are the most effeminate hairstyles. I'm sure that things will be looking very different by tonight even but I mean other than that I'm right with some of you guys when I say I'm not impressed by the 25 that made the cut.

I wish they'd let us just vote on a 100+ hairstyles, and then put the winning ones into a finalist voting thread. Only see one that I kinda like, and the ones from the live letter were far better imho. Oh well. :x

You aren't the only one. I like some of the female hairstyles, but I didn't like any of the male ones.

I guess, they remove hairstyle with some kind of design to be created by code.

Some of the male hairstyles are quite painful to look at...

Wow... that's the hairstyles that picked for the voting? Honestly most of them are pretty... unoriginal. I mean there's a couple of good ones, but for the most part a lot of them are very bland and I'm wondering what FFXIV was thinking when they ran these images through for the voting, not to insult the original artist or anything. I'm curious to what those Live Letter Hairstyles were that you guys are talking about and would love to see what they look like.

I wish I made an entry to submitted, though most likely wouldn't have won, and would've been based off of my OC:

I would've modify it from the original to stand on it's own. Too be honest I can't find a single hairstyle that I like for my character that's close to the hairstyle I want here like I posted and the only one I like is the one that's Thancred's hairstyle.
Oh well at least the Female ones are better.

Who would have thought that a game from a series known for its male characters with magnificent hairstyles would end up attracting an audience of voters who like male characters with magnificent hairstyles?

More seriously I suspect that people who like plainer hair are probably less inclined to vote in a hairstyle contest in the first place, let alone put the time in to design an entry.

I actually like the wavy hair that's currently winning for males (#23). It looks like Ser Aymeric's, but longer.

Male 21 needs to win, Eorzea needs to embrace the thug life.

I'm not very impressed by any of these hairstyles. The female entries look exactly like what's currently in the game. The male entries are just terrible. The live letter hairstyles were far superior than those of the current selection.

Ugh! all of the male ones are just awful >.< I'm so sick of long hairstyles! I want some interesting short hairstyles, and I saw quite a few of them during the 14hr stream ; ; Too bad none of them made it the ONLY one I'm rooting for at this point is number 14 on the males side, it is VERY similar to a hairstyle I had on Aion that I just loved! So interested to see how it would look on Marik, sadly...... I don't see it winning (especially atm ; ; )

Wow no curly hairstyles for women. D: Oh wow, and literally the first and 14 are the same except on different sides...

Entry number 2 is my jam, same with number 11.

I don't see any of those hairstyles looking good on my Roegadyn... so I like none of them.

Most of those hairstyles would not look good on a character who looks like they're in their 30-40's (which is how I try to make my character look).

There isn't a single manly hairstyle, glad I have female character. :)

Forget voting.. just put them ALL in the game.

The women hairstyles i don't find that interesting whatsoever. Copying hairstyles from manga or games is really not cool at all. Rather take a long hard look what actual women hairstyles look like (google women hairstyles 2015 for example) A hairstyle doesn't have to be complicated just for the sake of it yet it still can be stylish.
