1.19 TP Glitch

I have yet to see a post on this topic.

After 1.119 has anyone noticed your TP dramatically depleting while engauged in combat? You literally have 5 seconds to use your TP before it completely drains regardless if your in active or passive mode.

Has anyone experienced this?

I have experienced this, but but somehow I think it is working as intended. Sigh.

I've only noticed it draining faster while not engaged in a fight. If I'm hitting the enemy, and the enemy is hitting me, it does not drain on its own.

Happened to me l as t night Spuffin while I was stabbing wolves shortly after I popped Defender. No TP drain effects on me. I don't know if goong passive to active fixed it or the TP going to 0 temp fixed the issue.

I've noticed sometimes my TP doesn't drain while I'm not engaged in battle.

This can't be intended -.-... Doing leves earlier and switching to another mob claimed by the group didn't keep me from losing tp. Whenever the group finished the mob I was fighting, I'd still lose a chunk of TP. I also noticed that sometimes my tp will drain even while fighting mobs. Was fighting a mob earlier and my tp was draining as fast as I could shoot.

No, I didn't have tp bleed or anything of the such.

I wish when things like this come up they'd lay the damn facts down and tell us it's intended or not.. so frustrating

This happened earlier when I was doing Ifrit (Hard mode)....

Talk about bad timing for a glitch. >_<

yea.. it may be a glitch or a bug, if that ever happen to ifrit fight, because the way i see it now is that, when ever you have disengage from a fight, your TP will quickly diminish until you're next claim engage. So being quick to claim is the key to keeping your TP up in this case. but is not entirely necessary for it can be build quickly with team work (LNC is the key to quick TP generated party :) )

Working as intended.

You gain TP much slower now... coupled with this... it's horrid xD I've had 500-750tp after many battles only to try to use second wind the SECOND a battle ended only to find my tp wiped... even walking from one mob to the next that aren't linked, chances are you're going to start with 0 tp every fight :S

i think this is more of a claiming glitch then a TP glitch
i noticed it a lot lastnight as some mobs didn't claim right away and you would get this glitch

Hmm have not payed attention to that.
What i do have is that you sometimes have to click 3 times on an action before the game uses the command....
Anyone else had this ?

After reading all of your posts it seems like there might be something wrong. Only because while we are fighting a mob, I would go down to my action bar to buff myself three times and by the time the third buff is up, my TP has dropped below 1000... I completely understand TP draining after a fight but during a fight is a little ridiculous if it were intended. They had something similar happen a few patches ago. It seems to have weaved it's way back in~

And Yes I have also experienced skills not being ready when they say they are ready to be used, I would have to click multiple times. I think there is a thread on that one as well.

Never lost tp in boss or NM fight (even when passive mode) post patch, this seems intended since its consistant.
If youre not in active combat tp drains very fast, if you are in combat there is no drain whatsoever on tp.

Not a big issue but it does annoy me that tp goes away very fast, you can't save any tp for Second Wind or open up WS on the next mob you fight, basicly can no longer tactfully be saving tp instead of feeling forced to use it all on a WS when the mob is at 1-5% hp.

It's anything BUT consistant, people are reporting not losing tp at all, others are reporting losing tp while fighting mobs. I've had issues with the latter, as well as losing tp when mobs that I was previously fighting are killed (even while actively fighting another mob)

This happened to me as well in the Beastman stronghold the other night. TP would drain at the rate of 100 or more a second. It was highly annoying and made it really difficult to save up for large TP skills (such as Riot Blade).

Seems bizarre for tp to drain while in active mode, but then again, most party play up to this point consisted of spamming tp abilities, maybe now they are trying to reduce the spammage. Although, not sure watching auto-attack is any better so...

The new claiming system is glitchy. If linked mobs get pulled too far away from their spot, they will, in essence, "de-aggro without de-aggroing". They'll still be smacking you, and you'll still be smacking them, but you'll notice the hate indicator is not present. If that hate indicator isn't present, the game assumes you aren't in combat, and your TP drains like a sieve.

This was happening to me constantly while fighting Ixali near Treespeak last night. Very irritating.

ive noticed my TP not deplete while outside of battle and my TP going from 2k to 0 within about three seconds right before im about to do a WS.
the reason why i think its a glitch is because its not at all consistant, i only noticed it yesterday and not since.

it's a know problem. If you take mobs too far away, near the de-aggro range, tp start decreasing. Go near the pop point and all work good

Ah! The will try out the pop point test. Beats me theory like a dead horsebird.

I tried this last night, and it was still glitchy. T_T

The more links you have, the more evident the problem is. SE may be able to fix this by reducing the radius in which monsters will link.
