Gotta give Yoshi P Love for once!

This seasonal event with the two minions is amazing. Beeing on the floor with all the staff members is not only cozy but it also gives you the Chrono Trigger secret ending for thoese who remember it when you get to go around and talk to the staff of Chrono Trigger.

So much love to Yoshi P for that for the nostalgia feeling!

why can't we give yoshi-p's npc a pair of "real glasses" goggles are sooo 1.0

Deli: He gets real glasses later during the cutscene? Its not goggles anymore on him i think.

Now to nostalgia with the bashing thread addressed to Yoshida you made some weeks(?) ago.

There happen to be a fate list yet? Was wondering if there is more hidden within the fates possibly or something thrown in somewhere hidden (yes I am content with what there was I just know most times things are hidden for players to find)

I tried searching myself but I couldnt find the hint on the new primal

saw it later, hated that goggles for a long while...

There was a dialogue mentioning Doomtrain, but that was very, very vague. Not sure if that qualifies as a hint.

Nah, not Doomtrain. The hint isn't vague at all. It's from the Scenario designer I believe, and says, I paraphrase.:

"Perhaps the next Extreme Primal will be the final boss [of Heavensward]." Meaning The Singularity Reactor Extreme.

This was such a nice event. The dev room was really comfy so I had to take a few screenshots. I should've taken one of everyone in there, but these will have to do. Shame that we can't go back in there.

You can go back in while the event is going on. Just talk to the wandering minstrel next to the event starting NPC and he'll let you back in. As a bonus, you can talk to Yoshida again and he talks about the next expansion a bit instead of finishing out the quest.

Also, our anniversary event, the Rising, will kick off today. This year’s Rising has something of an “old-school Final Fantasy” feel to it, so you might find it a little different from the seasonal events we’ve had so far. I hope you all enjoy it (there was some talk about whether or not we should make certain NPCs attackable...)

Wouldn't it be great if they kept the access to the room in game, after the event has finished? Would be a cool way of releasing future spoilers.
Why waste all the hard work in creating the room only to take it away after a week or so. Whould be a shame :-(

I also love how Yoshida's room is divided from the others with the "boss room" barrier indicator. Do you think the other devs cast buffs on themselves before entering Yoshida's workspace?

It can certainly happen.

So far (almost?) everything that we have seen in promotional art and/or the Art of Eorzea artbook has become reality. Such as the various minions or certain weapons being shown in artwork before they were implemented (Various minions in the countdown art, Behemoth Heir minion in the artbook, there is a Ninja in the patch Leviathan artwork of patch 2.2, Shiva and Levi weapons in the Circus Tower artwork of 2.1, and so on) except for.... the mystery job on the cover of the artbook . Right in the middle of the artwork is a female Hyur wielding a rapier.

The male Mi'qote on the same cover is also a bit of a mystery, he is the only one that isn't carrying a weapon.

notice the Imperial Dreadnought airship miniature on the shelf in Yoshi's room (next to miniatures of the Enterprise and Tiny Bronco?). I so want that as furnishing! :D

This event I must say, was 100% awesome! From the 'debugging' FATE (besides a meta reference to removing bugs from the game, it also came across to me as a obscure reference to the manga and anime Ah! My Goddess!), to the return of the old secret Developer's Room from the old (NES/SNES era) FF games, I just loved this event so much! And how Yoshi and his team were not afraid to once again take responsibility for the mistakes of the past (1.0's utter failure) and thanking the players for making this game what it is. I didn't read too much into the 'hints' though - but I've been wrong before! :p

Once again, to Yoshi and the rest of the ARR development team, thank you for this amazing event. Definitely the best yet! :D

In light of the 4th Wall breaking in this event, I can't help but laugh at how they made an issue the affects most games (bugs) and all the steps needed to fix that problem and turned it into part of the quests.

IE, there are bugs plaguing the event (game) that players encounter. They then proceed to give a part of that bug (bug report) to specialists which then passes it down to other and eventually a way to get rid of those bugs are then implemented.

I just like how it showed the whole process

Nah if it'd been a real process you'd have started from the minstrel giving you a vague description of where the bug was and what it looked like, made you search Thanalan for one like a Hunt, try to figure out how to summon it, then when you finally figure it out after visiting a dozen NPCs scattered throughout Eorzea who give you a bunch of cryptic clues, attempt to destroy it only for 12 more to show up.

Then you run away and figure out where the bugs are coming from, destroy the mother bug via an overly convoluted puzzle boss battle, then realize you need to do it 1,512 more times to get the minions.

So this event is vastly more fun and rewarding. ;) hehehe

That sounds like something my last game would come up with...all while giving the top guild the stuff while making everyone else work for it.

On the note of the next Primal; I think the Primal reference was for Knights of the Round Extreme, HOWEVER the Clockwork Doomtrain reference was obviously for a minion that does not exist yet. BUT! What is something that was in 2.0 that has not appeared yet that gives out minions and TT cards as rewards for coming "primal-like battles"? Hildebrand! I personally think we will see Doomtrain there as a boss fight (Godbert could even Suplex it in a cut scene at the end) and the reward for completion would be the Clockwork Doomtrain (because there are other minions are labeled as "clockwork").
