So for stats for relic weapon what should i be aiming for Ninja (Crit/Det ?)
The cheapest ones. It's just a glamour item currently. You'll replace it with a 115 when you get into heavensward or a 120 following the main story through poetics
Crit/Det is the most generally applicable (at 50, there was some specific accuracy point that yielded the highest effective Dexterity, but that's not so much relevant now). If you are intent on finishing the Zeta before taking your NIN beyond 50, it will last you until about level 56 or 57. But beyond that, you can reasonably throw anything physical on it (accuracy, crit, det, and skill speed) and get mileage out of it without significantly changing how effective it is (especially because the relative value of secondary stats seems to decrease after 50).
Im no hurry/rush to 60+ and also im already 52 by doing the book's fates run :)
Would like some more help but so Crit/Det/Acc ?
Maybe i don't want to RUSH to end game to get it replace (maybe i have 3 60's already) so im taking things slowly and enjoying this relic questsline)
Why? There's a new relic being put in the game. The one you have now will only be good for a glamour and IF you insist on taking it to Zeta, whoopdidoo you MAY get to turn it in so you can skip one intro step in the new relic grind. Not worth the time or millions of gil imho.
Maybe cause Ninja Relic are better than anything else and truth been told i can use it till 56-57 (which ill be using it as glamour from 56+) and if people don't want to help then don't bother commenting :(
If you want to go with the old optimal build, go crit/det.
But at this point, I'd just throw whatever is cheapest on it, since it's just glamour fodder at this point, so not worth spending any significant gil on.
yeah i did that upto light farming for me :) till nexus <3
Yoshi again mentioned during the live letter that zeta users will be able to skip a certain step of the new relic. We can't say if it's worth it to do the old relic now until we know how time consuming (and/or expensive) that certain step is, but with how much less of a time sink the old relic now is, it's at least too much of a risk. Especially if someone likes it for glamour purposes.
Considering pricing of both det and crit has dropped substantially it is very doable. While i was working on my first determination IV's were 700K each, and failed like 3 of them....
Just go crit/det like others have said, and do not listen to others if YOU want to do it then do it :)
On a sidenote having done 2 zetas i never bothered finishing my Nin Novus but was using Augmented Ironworks dagger and it did bring me up to 60 as i did not really see anything better out there, so same should be for Nin Relic
W/E but I have to say you do not need the relic for any of the HW story content. None of my characters had anything more than the magitek weapons and even those were outdone by the HQ white weapons you get from quests. And the green weapons you can get in the dungeons are perfectly fine too. Heck this mage character breezed thru the first two HW zones with just the i110 weapon lol.
I'm just not into wasting a ridiculous amount time, money to earn something I'll only use as a glamour. Especially considering I'd have to drastically slow or STOP story progress in order to level the damned thing up.
If you want your relic fully stat'd for dungeon, go crit/det. Since most prices for materia T4s have dropped drastically, you should be easily able to drop a few 100s gils into materia for the relic. If you dont have the funds, then just add a few acc materia instead of T4s. If you just want the weapon for glamour, thats great! Im working on a nexus one myself just for glamour, I can easily just make the relic from scratch once the new one comes out. Its cool that youre enjoying your relic quest while leveling, and while many might think youre wasting time and (low amount of gil) on something that seems "useless" enjoyment is always to their personal opinion.
I say go for it currently working on my ninja relic also. The prices are so low now that even someone who barely crafts or gathers can afford the high materia.
