100 Triple Triad cards - How many players have done it?

A poll or whatever would be pretty silly, but I'd just be very curious to see this stat and others regarding Triple Triad completion among the player base.

Have they ever given any info like this? I know they recently gave numbers regarding class distribution, Alex completion, etc., and I think it would be cool to have a sense of your progress in this pretty huge grind relative to other players.


(also I've just got my eyes on the TT end-game now that I finally got a Warrior of Light card after 700k MGP spent on gold packs)

no idea why we can't go undersized into ct / wod... that's the ONLY content where this function is needed xD

Pretty much blatantly false. I've gotten two Onion Knight Cards in the span of the last week while spamming ST and WoD as a healer. If you go around 6:00 PST on weekdays, or any time midday/early evening on weekends or Fridays the queue times aren't that bad.

I have Onion Knight but I'm only at 93/100 cards. Missing Cecil, Cloud, Zidane(the bane of my existence!), Tiomon, Nidhogg, Bismarck, and Ravana. Keep hoping for Cecil from a plat pack but no luck so far. I have about 1.1m total MGP winnings but most of them went to card packs. I've practically given up on Zidane. I swear I've spent at least 800k MGP on gold packs. Ran a few runs of Sohm Al and The Aery before I got fatigued and decided to take a break. Haven't tried for Bismarck or Ravana much but I'll probably just DF HM over and over cause even though I've cleared both EX, I don't want to go through them again haha.

Between the new cards being added and now Lords of Virminion, I'll be collecting Gold Saucer things til I die most likely.

if this works on your server/datacenter be glad. on shiva its basicly impossible to get an entry as of now no matter the time. so its not completly false. for many players this card is currently not gettable. hope they fix this in 3.1

the only card I'm missing is bismarck and no pf group is able to kill it, haha

I didn't get the Onion Knight card during 2.0 but when taking a friend through it recently I snagged it in 3.0...

I just queued wod 2 times and got an invite after 30 minutes each

onion knight card is still easy to obtain, atleast on my data center

While Onion Knight was not really the point of the topic, it is something I'm not too excited about farming for. On Excalibur my queue for WoD has popped twice after about 50 minutes, so I guess I can just play a lot of matches against Tataru in that time and hope for Firion.

Ufff finally done it :). Can confirm there is no benefits (or rewards) for having 100 cards.

I hope in 3.1 Triple Triad creators will manage to show more creativity than Random Number Generator in various forms. In Yoshi I trust :o.

Ow, gratz! I'm still missing 7: Lightning, Firion, Ravana, Bismarck, Terra, Zidane and Cloud. Farming Terra atm but the queues are long and the drop rate is really low, 200+ runs and it hasn't dropped yet.

Anyway, isn't the Cloud card really bad for the 1m MGP it costs?

cloud is the best 5 star card with 8/9/9, if you want to play competetive...

Dunno, I'd take Lightning over Cloud anytime. Stat-wise I'd rather have a card with 2 big numbers (A/A or A/9) and an average third stat than 3 good stats. Cloud doesn't have an A, that makes it worse for me. Unless there are some rules in play like Plus, of course. That changes everything.

ligtning can be easily flipped by the most 3 star cards because of her 2 weak sides, cloud has only 1 weak side which makes it way more usefull

I kinda just started with TT. I'm at 93 cards myself, I'm missing Nanamo, Lahabrea, Cecil, Tidus, Zidane, Cloud and Bismarck. :(

How bad is the rare card drop from platinium booster packs?

shiva, ultima, lahabrea are approx. 25% ea, nanamo 10%, a platinum card 15% (about 3-4% per card)

Thanks! I just got both Lahabrea and Cecil from them. Hopefully in the next tourney I'll see Tidus and POSSIBLY Nanamo.

Finally done with every NPC/dungeon/trial/tournament card, only Cloud left now. Got Firion from Tataru, that was really unexpected.

My friend just got 3 Lahabrea cards from the Platinum packs from the most recent tournament. I got 1 Lahabrea, 1 Shiva, and Nanamo. It's the first time I've gotten a 5* card from them.
