We'll be able to vote from one of each gender, and they'll then put the most popular one in game with 3.1 iirc.

I think it's definitely 3.1 from what we've been told but things can be delayed I guess. Hairstyles don't seem like it would take too much development time, but it's possible they'd prioritize other things.

Two of those male hairstyles violate the rules of entry. The Roxas Hairstyle; which is not the entrants original work as he has been seen posting that they searched the internet and submited their finding as their own work. And the Fade hairstyle is also a stolen work not of the entrants own work.

Definitely not all as I/friends had entries that aren't in there.

I have to wonder how some of these were chosen. I won't say any of them are bad, some I definitely wouldn't use (but thats personal taste) although...I dunno, some of these just seem like they'd be the kinds I couldnt imagine anyone really wanting to use. Several look like they've been ripped directly off existing characters

there's some really cool hairstyles though.

that red hairstyle in the middle for men's is what i personally would want to see in the game.

Well I'm annoyed. I purposefully didnt include additional drawings to show how itd work with cat ears or horns because we were only allowed to submit one from front and one from back. If were allowed to submit more than two drawings then why did the rules say no? Now I feel like my entry wasnt considered on grounds they wouldnt know how to work in the ears.

They should have a Mikasa hairstyle

I don't bother with these contests because they never explain how they're chosen...

Hopefully they'll finally give us a long wavy hairstyle with no bangs but I wont hold my breath :s

And of course I don't like any of the female hairs. Makes me wish I had some sort of artistic talent so I could have submitted something I like :(

Were they presented as the finalist? or just examples as images that have been submitted so far?

I love how the men have long hairs, about time SE starts adding more long hairstyles for males. The red hair one in the middle is just perfect of my male avatar.

Bleh, far too many pigtails. :/ Wish I hadn't spaced the deadline...

You sure these aren't Dev drawings? I would expect to see photos of people or dummies wearing wigs up there if it was from the contest

For the female ones I personally like:

1st, Row 1 pic 1. Straight Twintails with normal bangs would be great, I love having bangs (one of the few it seems, joke: bunch of forehead fetish weirdos) and straight long twintails unlike the short or oddly looped/curly ones we have now would be so nice.

2nd, row 4 pic 4. Looks fancy but very cute.

3rd, row 3 pic 4. Looks both girly and with a bit of a strong tomboy feel to it without having to be some kind of man cut, cute tomboys are best tomboys.

And last is row 2 pic 2. Just kind of cute in general but I fear SE would make the ribbon pure white like all other hair ribbons and it would clash with my faintly tan skin red hair and darker cloth colors like the hair I have now does.

And that's my opinion.

im glad they've said they may still use some of them in future updates, alot of the female ones are really pretty ;-;

So were these really the finalists? If so, some of the entries are very underwhelming as some people pointed out- someone just stole someone else's work by copy/pasting it directly (which is against the rules), while some are basically what we already have now. I wonder how they were chosen- it sorta felt like one of those situations where they already have an actor they wanted to cast already but had open auditions just for formality. Well if these were the chosen finalists- would it be safe to start a thread for people to post their entries? I would love to see what people have done but didn't get placed. :)

The entries arent too bad but none in the female nor male really stand out as " WOW...look at that!" to me.

I was hoping some really long hair would have made the cut, so I wouldn't vote for any tbh (even though thats not an indicator that a few aren't nice!!)
Just nothing that I would choose.

Aww, mine didn't get in. I know the "fade" is a plagiarized entry, but I hope a decent short spiky hairstyle gets in. There's a distinct lack of short hair that doesn't look overly wacky or braided to choose.

I get the game veers towards the anime aesthetic and all, but a little variety wouldn't hurt.

Are these the offical finalist? Cause I'm pretty sad then :/ A lot of these kind of look stolen. Are these just random grabs and they showed them on stream?

Love the 2nd from the right, top row of the men's slide. Nice sharp cut.
