FFXIV open world content

Do you feel bored waiting for queues to pop?
Like you want to go to a dungeon and it takes so much time especially if you're a DPS.
I hope developers add "dungeon/raid" NPCs for solo-playing.

I feel like open world content is more convenient and has more options on DoH and DoL classes than on Battle Classes.

What do you guys think?

Can already solo most of the 2.0 dungeons already. What I would like is to have my choco in there too.

That would be fun too, and then you can level your chocobo as well.

Sadly what OP said is true the open world is for crafters and gatherers.

The new sky island exploration is our one hope for actual open world content for us.

Yes...exactly...hoping this Island Hunting is super Awesome that will give us lots to do and explore. I have not tried soloing a dungeon yet...I keep forgetting...better mount up my Warrior and get to it already.

There cannot be Open World Dungeons or Content in this game because of how it was designed and even I am sad about it.

Pretty sure the Airship islands things are instanced content, not open world.

I really miss the days of open world xp parties. It was so fun and you met so many people and made many friends. Maybe I'm cynical, but I miss those 6 hour awesome grind parties. Oh well..

They're actually a compromise in between. They've specifically said that you may find yourself sharing a discovered island with another group that also found it so it's not entirely instanced in the way a dungeon or trial is. I suspect they'll be using limited instancing akin to how open world regions were instanced when 3.0 launched.

they spesificly metioned strong mobs, out side of instances. strange, they never did something like that other than the hunts offcourse, but most hunts are soloable anyway.

I wouldn't wanna try to solo any of the new A/S ranks or the old S ranks.

The old A ranks can be soloed, though some are tricky.

Nobody counts B ranks, they barely qualify as hunt mobs.
