So I just did two ephemeral nodes back to back..

And I didn't get a single furymint. Not one. Can someone at SE explain to me how I am supposed to keep up with my groups needs if the game can literally say "no" and not give me a single mat in a 24 hour game cycle.Not one. Eight hours of farming and all I am doing is basically playing Destiny by looking into nodes and seeing miles and miles of nothing.That combined with the fact that you get one potion per craft, and I am ready to crack. I have never been so stressed in a game before trying to meet supply.

I'm assuming you mean you did 2, 4 ET hour ephemeral node windows? With that out of the way, I am also assuming you know how to quickly respawn the nodes right? I mean you probably just had bad RNG but there are strategies you can employ to ensure maximum efficiency.

Yea I know about the respawning trick. And as far as rng, I don't understand the point of rng on timed nodes. I mean, everything is timed now. You have to make choices and sacrifices on what you want to get at any time. To to for fifteen minutes and never see a single nq mat that you are looking for? That is just ridiculous. You get two chances for furymint in an entire 24 hour cycle, and the game can just say no, you can't have any. Two mint for one pot. The numbers get crazy pretty quick if you try to figure out how many furymint you need for an hours worth of pulls.

In a 4 hour window you can spawn like 20 ephemeral nodes....

I don't understand what you mean by two chances in 24 hours. Furymint comes from Ephemeral Nodes, not from Unspoiled Nodes. Ephemeral Nodes respawn an unlimited number of times within their four-hour window, not once twice a day like Unspoiled Nodes do. Depending on how efficient you are, you could have, as Metterschlingel noted, twenty chances in a single four-hour window. More than that, these windows are open twice per day - fully a third of the day, Furymint Nodes can be accessed (Sea of Clouds from 8pm-midnight, Coerthas Western Highlands from midnight-4am).

Furymint is a hidden item, it's true, so RNG CAN kick your ass, but you're certainly not limited to just two chances every 24 hours. More like forty chances every two hours.

If they aren't helping you gather the furymint, !@#% them.

They can have HQ xpotions.

So you had bad luck, keep going. I can usually get the 60s to spawn 2 or 3 times in a 4 hour window.

This is not a problem.

You don't have to even gather at the other nodes, just open one of a pair, another one of a pair, back to E-Node, repeat. Can do many many times if you wish in that 4 hr span.

Ephemeral nodes spawn at certain times during the day, and last for a 4 hour period in that time. You can respawn the node by walking up to one from each node pair and then leaving it, giving you tons of respawns of the node.

But at 2 furymint per potion, and the ephemeral nodes being a 4 hit, it's a tall order to try and supply a raid team with one gatherer.

This is so true, not to mention furymint is random it might and might not appear in the ephemeral nodes making gathering a decent amount even harder.
