[Suggestion] Put some second of stop during the FLs final results

After that a FL end you will see people that as fast as possible will exit the duty in order to requeue FL hoping to get the next pop.

They will so totally ignore results AND commendations, so I suggesto to block the exit from the FL (even via DF) for the next 10-12sec after the end, or even less, just to give people the time to take a breath.

Few seconds wouldn't be a problem up to me considering that after u will have to wait far more for this un-spammable content :D

...Why? If people care about the result numbers or for commendations, they will wait.

If they don't, they won't wait.

Why would you want to force people to sit there for things they obviously don't care about?

I know what you mean... I'm usually torn between checking out how many kills/deaths I had compared to the rest of the team, or leaving quickly so I can queue again and get in to the next round quicker.

But as some people probably don't care about the results, I think making them wait would just be annoying for them. Plus it would give the losing teams 10+ more seconds of people venting their rage at all the 'noobs' in alliance chat!

Better solutions would be:

- Pop up with the option to 'play again?' without actually leaving the instance. Anyone else who selects this option would remain, and you could check the scores out while the empty spots fill up again.

- Add the option to view the most recent scoreboard after you have come out of PVP, which you could look at while queuing for the next.

- Have a button on the scoreboard to 'save results', and allow you to keep it for future reference!

It's not a punishment, really do u think that a 10 sec cooldown to allow all that want to see them, give and/or receive commendation, without the "omg run for the next pop", so u won't have to decide if check them or try to trigger the next FL pop :/

As said FL, I hope up to now but I fear not, are not a spammable content, I will understant that is NOT applicable to all the fights cause it will be very annoying expecially if u want to farm something.

It would be nice to talk to people afterwards, but honestly I dont see the need to force people to stay in the match for an arbitrary amount of time just because other people want them to

As to being forced to wait, just no. The only suggestion I could think of is sorting players names in order of alliance, I check my score all the time when I roll mnk, too compare total dmg + kills. As for when I roll pld, I just jump out straight away unless I've been lucky enough to pop out a fever.

Like others have said i too see no reason to be forced to sit in there and stare scoreboard after the match, if im curious about something then i stay and check the things, if not then i simply leave soon as possible. Also what comes to scoreboard its wierd that there is no assist in there, just K/D, captures and other stats but not assists o.O

I haven't tought about it even because SE seems to have big problems with any change that involve Duty Fidner, if not I would gladly enjoy this option!
Even if it doesn't solve the Commendation problem, sometimes I would really like to comemnd people in my party that already fled away in just 1 sec, even if they don't care about it, commendation was designed for promoting who you liked in a content.

It will can also help to give to healers a little reward for they efforts, up to now sometimes I receive some "ty for switching" but no commendation, and it is barely frustrating even because I know that they just didn't give them in order to move out as fast as they can.

Commendations? Meh.

Results? Honestly, I'd be more interested in just being able to check past results anywhere... The last 5 or something should be kept in the PvP Profile page or something...

At least there could be a page in the PvP profile window that showcase your [insert number] latest performances. Just like retainers show transaction history.

Forcing people to stay? no. The shitstorm to SE would never end. Kinda like the storm they get from queue-times now.

I still think thet it wouldn't be an issue considering the kind of the match, it is not like a raid where more or less you have to follow always the same strategy and so the final result would be always the same and considering the actual que times it wont' really be an issue for few sec of stop, but

a lot disagree with it, so I wont' insist anymroe even because

I think the OP's point is not forcing people to wait before leaving, but instead not forcing them to leave immediately if they want to hit the next match that everyone else is immediately re-queuing for.

I'm really surprised that people would care about 10-15 at the end of the match. Seems rediculous.

I myself normally commend the first person I can click on then leave, because if I can hit the same que as everyone else that's just played the match, it's a quick pop. I would rather be held for a mandatory 10-15 seconds each round, to place a considered commendation, and check the scoreboard. Just thought I should make it known that there are at least 2 people that feel that way ^^;

Compare it to PvE. Would it be silly to have to wait before you could leave the duty? It may seem trivial, but people would complain about it. If it was implemented from the get go it would have been removed by now because of the complaints.

It's 10-15 seconds at the end of a match, for absolutely no reason, though...

There are far better ways to address the "issues" here. Since its inception, I've seen suggestions for the Commendation system which boil down to "Let us Commend players during a run, rather than at the end". That would be a great addition for both PvE and PvP. For the results, I'm sure everyone would rather have a log of them, rather than them being gone for good at the end of the match. The PvP Profile simply needs improvements, it should have a record of the last X matches, not to mention a running tally of your kills/deaths would be nice.

There is no real reason to hold players back for any amount of time after a match. There is potentially "Discuss what went wrong" value, but why not do that at the start of the next match? People are already locked in doing nothing for several minutes with PvP, and they're already not using that to discuss strategy all that often, what would be the value in adding another at the end of a match? It would just annoy people, and you know what annoyed people start doing? Flinging shit. I'd rather not be locked in at the end of a match to witness everyone playing the blame game...

This games PvP already wastes a minute of my time at the start of matches, I'd rather it not waste another minute at the end...

Well it's not for absolutely no reason - the reason is to allow people time to commend and check scoreboards without needing to worry about missing the next que that many of the other players from the current match would be re-queing for.

However, if there's a better way to avoid us needing to leave quickly (i.e. que's quicker in general as a result of some other change that generates interest from more players to pvp), or as you suggest allow us to commend during a run, rather than just at the end, I wouldn't have any issue with that! Keeping record of past matches would also be most welcome, but I this would be a bit more complicated / time consuming to implement. I do agree that the lock in for 10seconds is a band aid to the issue of limited people playing pvp = longer ques = trying to stay in the existing group. The thing is there are better changes, and changes that could actually be implemented in a short time.

The blaming already happens just before end of a match, but I could see that it would be off putting for a new player to be picked out when his 20 deaths are noticed on the scoreboard after his first run. Still, for particularly nasty comments, there are reporting options.

I completely understand where you're coming from, however it's too late. It they had put in this feature when PVP was first introduced, no one would care because we'd all be used to it. However, now that we're all used to being able to leave matches immediately, adding in a wait period now would seriously piss of the people who want to get out instantly.

Personally, I would love it if you could go through the match rankings after you exit the instance. It would certainly give us something to do during the 30+ minute wait for the next match.

Happy to see that we starting discussing positively and I saw a lot of better options for the "issue" I landed.
Happy because after a very little time people focused on the problem and not just on 1 bad ipothetical solution :)

Most of all I would like to see the possibility to commend people even after leaving the duty by your Rank tab / be able to commend anyway people who already left the istance.
I think these fixes are not so easy to implement because you can commend a playr from another server that before was in your same istance, after u are in different servers, but I think that is not "impossible" to achieve, just need a little focus on it and obviously for any content, not only PvP.

Also yep, I would like to see even a simpler or reduced version of the past x Final results log in my PvP profile, amybe even as local datas, like your macros.
