New Tattoo's

Ok after reading the legacy tattoo thread. I'm seeing people bring up the idea to have more tattoo options to use and different places for them to be put besides the face. I actually like this idea a lot and we can get SE to do it if we rally behind it. I don't want to see them on the mogstation but more in the Aesthetician (can't tell if that's spelled right or not) or even the character creation screen. Hell I would love to have a Celtic knot type tattoo on my Character''s arm. So please people lets stop bickering over stuff and atleast get together to get MORE tattoo/tattoo area options!

I'd be for that, since I'd like them on my other characters. Give me the ability to have them, and maybe put them on ankles or hips or something and that would make my day. Maybe some more scars/battle stuff on other parts of a body? That would make this even better.

Yes please! More options! I have tattoos in RL and can't stand the only tattoo option in game. Being able to select your tattoos would definitely be a nice customization touch.

It could also be a really cool reward for quests and such. I don't really care about titles, but tattoos would be awesome.

Yes please. I think the devs know that players want tattoos due to so many gear having them.

I don't have it, but I do remember the dev (or was it a community rep) say that due to limitation on the system they can't implement a tattoo system yet, but will look into it. And that was before the 1st gear (South Seas talisman) with the tattoo was ever released

The system already exists with the Legacy Tattoo, so something like a command like /tattoo# is possible to get the tattoo we want can be done

But since I'm no programmer this might be something that's easier said than done?

I would really like a tattoo on the back of the neck so I support this. Perhaps have different designs and a place to select where they go. Back of neck, lower back, right arm, left arm, etc.

Something lore fitting with a races tribal-like histories may be pretty neat.

Would love this, especially placing tattoos elsewhere on the body other than the face. Would also like some other tattoo options related to specific races or classes, probably an option for Aesthetician, that you can get if you're that race or class. Either way, I agree with this.

I really like the idea of tattoos, particularly the tribal variety for characters. I know I'd love to use them on arms/back/legs if they were like that. And especially if they were available at the Aesthetician.

With the ability to cast glamours, and emporer's new gear set, you have the ability to show off some skin. And with a south sea talisman that puts a tattoo on your arm it makes me hopeful that we can get a tattoo feature added to the aesthatician.

SE could make it possible to tattoo your upper torso, lower torso, left arm, right arm, left leg, and right leg separately. you could get your FC logo on your gear, why not your skin? And they could make job symbols tattoos too, and previous Final Fantasy logos, more. And just imagine that tattoo design contest they can have like the hair design ones! :D

I would also hope for the option to add body hair to male avatars... but I won't hold my breath on that one.

I like that idea, this game is long overdue in the tattoo department! If I can't get a frigging house I'd atleast like to be able to customize my character more.

If we already can have gear with the FC crest on it, it shouldn't be that hard to get that same FC crest tattoed on our bodies, and add some other tattoos while at it... We already have a bunch of face paints, why not get body paints based on that system too?

And a BIG YES to body hair, some of us want our characters to be furry beasts, and we all look cookie cutter depilated calvin klein models.

yeah We should be able to show some fur for sure.

I do think there should be more body features... all the races bodies look too clean or plain, having upper tattoos would be nice, and to have them in different colors as well, Black tattoos on dark skin doesn't mix very well..

well I imagine like face paint and face tattoos you could change the color of body tattoos too.

When they eventually do create it, I demand custom guild logos. So I can find a guild called "Fairy Tail" for.......reasons >.>

I’m almost tempted to go through the general forums so I can find and link all the tattoo related threads so the devs can see how many people actually want new customization options. Personally I’d love to see a quest line that allows us to unlock new customizations rather than having them simply –there- when a character is made or on the mogstation. It would be a unique spin, and you won’t bump into half a dozen people wearing the same tattoos/hairstyles within five minutes of logging in. Does that make sense?

makes sense, but the point is that they add the system lol

Would love some racial or class themed tattoos that can be elsewhere on the body than just the face, that's a stretch though. Neat tattoos in places other than the face would be nice too.

Well, yeah! I should have made it a bit more clearer and said “assuming they add blah blah blah” or something lol

Id love to have more tattoo options then the one i have, perhaps something more arcane and magic themed as well as hell just a lot more options all considering most games allow you to go nuts with tattoos and other personalizing marks for toons.

Tattoos would be fun :) They have them for the face, should be able to put them other places as well without needing shirts or gear. :)
