1: get your eso wep then save for the chest. i190 pants have wicked secondary stats for Warrior. The i200 Weapon and chest will be the last upgrades you can get till you can complete Savage Alex room 4, so might as well upgrade those with eso and everything else through Alex normal.
I'm in the same boat as you. The only i180 on my war is the chest. I'm probably buying the chest with [big, hard] shafts tomorrow and legs with esoterics. After that i'm pretty much done with normal alex since i got the slaying gear as well.
Well, both of these should result in the same increases to Defense, Strength, and Vitality. So we're dealing with Secondary Stats here.
Getting Chest trades Accuracy(Pri)/Skill Speed(Sec) for Skill Speed(Pri)/Parry(Sec) no matter which of the two chests you choose. I'm going to assume that you have every i190 left side piece except for the chest. This means that you may be hemorrhaging Accuracy(ie. have ~650, possibly higher depending in which accessories you've chosen). Going this route would trade a decent chunk of that excess Accuracy for more Skill Speed and Parry. Don't worry about the Parry; even that is better than excess Accuracy.
Getting Legs Trades Accuracy(Pri)/Crit(Sec) for Accuracy(Pri)/Parry(Sec). You probably don't need this accuracy boost right now and the gain in Strength will be slightly neutered by the loss of Crit.
Recommendation: Upgrade to the i200 Chestpiece. It will increase both your damage and survivability without any sacrifice in either.
Agreed with the above - imo the two best parts of the 190 set are pants and boots (Crit/Acc and Crit/Det respectively). These are thus the last parts you should upgrade to Esoterics - upgrade the Chest/Hat/Gloves before these.
If you're doing Savage:
Weapon -> Hands/Head -> Hands/Head -> Feet -> Belt -> Pants -> Body -> Accessories of your choice or gear another job if you've got crafted.
(all this changes depending on your drops, so keep that in mind)
If you're not doing Savage:
Whatever your heart desires.
Hmm... I'm curious as to why you rank the Body at such low priority to purchase considering how much of a wall even Alex 3 Savage will be to the average group.
Also, Crafted Accessories are great but I feel so sad that I can't get excited about accessory drops in the raid anymore :(
Since eso equipment and gordian equipment are both capped by weeklys, I'd say it's wise to look at how they're being collected side by side.
The Gordian Chest requires 4 Gordian Shafts. The Shaft only drops in A4 so you can only get one a week. So it takes 4 weeks to get a chest minimum.
The Gordian Legs requires 4 Gordian Springs. The Spring drops in A3 AND A4 so you can get two a week. It takes 2 weeks to get legs minimum (slower if you sacrifice A4 for chest).
In 2 weeks of eso you can get a chest. In 5 weeks of eso (only one more than chest) you could already have an eso chest and weapon, while building up all other gordian pieces at the same time.
With that said, get eso chest. Both 190 hands and leg components can be sped up from the drop from A4 and even the combined time will be quicker than just getting the 190 chest.

I would just avoid anything that has parry on it for WAR. Unless both eso and Alex savage drops have it on them. I then choose the one with the more convienent other secondary stat. The weapon was my first upgrade followed by hands. Next will most likely be head if I remember correctly.
I'm in a sort of confused situation as to how I want to approach the coming up weeks.
I'm getting chest next week, already have axe.
But the following week I will have 4 AS2 tokens which can go to belt, or toward the 6 for gloves or boots. Well, for all 3 I believe Eso is better. I need to double check. I know at least the Eso gauntlets have best secondary stats of any Eso piece.
So likely I will go Eso gauntlets in week 6 and then I gotta decide on AS2 belt or boots. I don't wanna waste a slot early.
We won't be clearing 3 for some time probably so maybe Eso helm would be a good idea. Eso pants are obviously great primary stats, but terrible secondary stats.
The Gordian chest is probably a ways off for most. Sure the Eso chest isn't BIS but, until you can get it, what else are you going to get? Stat wise, it's an upgrade of the i190 for sure. Sure, you gain some parry, but you trade accuracy away rather than a damage stat. It's a good pick.
Looking at the other options in ESO:
The pants tie for largest primary stat bump but you dump crit for parry. Not BIS. But they drop in A3, so it'll last a while for many. Gonna save those for later.
The hat gives you a small bit of DPS secondary for a bit less accuracy, but a smaller primary stat upgrade. BIS (Gordian has parry). Plus it's an A3 drop. An easy early pick up.
The hands are good! As long as you don't need the accuracy. BIS (gordian has parry). Get these or shoes depending on your accuracy needs and any drops you get.
The shoes are good for picking up some accuracy and BIS over the parry-laden Gordian.
The belt is fine if you can shed accuracy. Both Gord and eso belts have parry, it's a matter of needing accuracy or not. If you were trying to get the biggest primary gains in the shortest time you probably bought this last week.
i190 chest is actually Parry/SS, same as Ravager. If you can afford the large chunk of accuracy loss from i180, then it's your best main stat upgrade outside of the weapon. The second you have to start moving around pieces is the second the gain becomes less substantial, it is -69 accuracy after all.
So that's basically why I put body last. But, looking back on it (since I just kinda went with my gut), you could do something like:
Wep -> Body -> Boots
Which would only be -16 accuracy. You could also buy the boots first to be safe. idk, accessory choice is a huge question mark that makes purchase order very confusing to lay out.
Weapon / Hands / Head / feet / belt. Both the body and legs are useless parry and shit. Need alex Body and legs.
Get the chest, you don't need the extra acc. Plus many people are saying forgo your chest for the A4 drop, which is a little strange because no one has cleared A4. So if you wait till you do clear A4 for the chest then you are just making it harder for your static to clear in the first place imo.
Get Weapon - Get Chest - Get Head/Gloves/Feet whatever fits best for secondary stats - Get Belt - Get accessories
I think the reason is secondary stats, ilvl190 has same stats so its better to go for other pieces first. Also if possible i would suggest getting ilvl180 pvp chest as it has CRIT/DET and those will be alway usefull(sure it has slightly less str/vit compared to ilvl190 but atleast secondaries are good).
chest
eso war pants secondary stats is just horrible
