Seriously if we have more quests like manderville chain quest then game would be perfect to keep us entertained at 60 even if it cracks up laughing :)

Also duties makes you more interested and involved (old greg fight was fun :P)
Then you'll be happy to hear that Hildibrand Season 2 is in development currently. Release date is unknown but people are hoping for 3.1 as the release date.
(and hopefully the /adjustglasses emote as a Season 2 reward.)
I'm hoping that the new quests are in no way required for real content (like the previous were required for trial roulette). That way I can save myself the time of running around and skipping cutscenes.
+1 to this, I thoroughly enjoyed the Manderville quests, and would love to see more content in a similar vein. Big thumbs up OP :D
While I'm super not a fan of the Manderville quest line (it just isn't for me), I'd happily take any content that wasn't just battle and grind related.
+1 too.
Glad that they are working on new season even when there were many extra serious players who were against this. Probably because they don't like any fun in their second job.. um I meant in their game. xD
So long as they're limited to the Hildibrand quest chain? Sure. I like the overall tone and mood of the game but I don't want it dragged down by too many silly side quests. It works well for the Hildibrand stuff to be locked away behind a specific quest chain - the people who like it can do it, those who dislike it can avoid it/skip through it.
But I don't want that sort of thing tied to the main story. WoW made that mistake - and ended up with too many silly and over the top quests that detracted from the tone and mood of the overall game.
If I remember correctly didn't they adjust Roulette so that players no longer need to unlock all Trials to access the Trial Roulette?
Considering Hildibrand was only full of Trial roulette stuff it shouldn't be a issue anyways since player should no longer be required to unlock all trials to run Trial Roulette.
I must be the only one in the world who thinks the Hildebrande quest chain was better than the main story of 2.0.
Here's hoping that the moogle delivery quests will have the same quality in terms of cinematography as the Hildibrand Quests now that they're reallocating their resources into side projects.
There's also those Doman Adventurers guild followed by them saying NPCs will also have quests/be more fleshed out this expansion
I'm hoping those 4 Lalafell thieves featured in that Lv54 Revenant's Toll quest chain tie into the new Inspector of Intrigue quests. They were funny.
It wouldn't surprise me if SE tied the new relics into the 3.1 Hildibrand quests somehow.

Yes please, more Hildibrand quests. They were genuinely hilarious and I would love to see more throwbacks.
The only thing I'd want changed is more reason to run the trials involved. It took me forever to get a party for both Gilgamesh fights...and I'm a tank. So glad I got Enkidu on my first run.
This is the one I was thinking of as well. I wonder if I laughed harder than I normally would at the end because I was not expecting such a unique chain of events from a quest I was doing only because it was there and I was the right level for it. They may also be foreshadowing a future primal fight as they did with Enkidu and Greg, although perhaps it was only meant as a joke. The quests seem to fall under a new category called "Doman Adventurer's Guild Quests", so it appears that it will be a series of quests that will continue on in the future. I would certainly enjoy the continuation of both the Doman Adventure's Guild and Hildebrand quest lines in the patches to come.
If anyone is interested, here is a link to the Lodestone that explains how to start the series of quests, http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...9&category3=24
