(Seal Rock) Summoner Button Spam Deathflare Macro

/ac "Fester" <t>
/ac "Bane" <t> or /ac "Energy Drain" <t>
/ac "Painflare" <t>
/ac "Dreadwyrm Trance" <me>
/ac "Deathflare" <t>

I though of this while playing Seal Rock.

The idea is that you can keep pressing a single button/key and it will cast them all in order.

Please know that you'll need to use Aetherflow and gain 3 stacks beforehand.
You could add in /ac "Aetherflow" <me> at the top if you wanted (I haven't tested it out)
Also, Fester, Bane, and Painflare's order can be re-arranged.


If you don't know this macro works, let me tell you.
All these actions in the macro have "long" cooldown timers.

When you first press the macro button, the game will perform the first action "Tri-Disaster". "Tri-Disaster" will then go to cooldown state.

When you press the macro button again, the game will try to use "Tri-Disaster" once more; but since "Tri-Disaster" is still in cooldown, the game cannot use "Tri-Disaster" and will execute the next line of text.

When you press the macro button for the third time, the game will skip the first and second line of text and execute the third line of text.

This process will repeat every time you press the same macro button until the game reaches the last line of text /ac "Deathflare" <t>

Just remember that all those actions in the macro have fairly long cooldowns and that's how the game "skips" lines of text.
If one of those actions in the middle of the macro were to complete its cooldown and if you haven't reached the last line of text, then the whole macro will fail out of order when you press the macro button again. That is something to consider.

Originally, I had the macro cast Swiftcast at the start and then work its way down the line and cast Ruin III after Dreadwyrm Trance. After testing that Macro in Seal Rock, I found that Swiftcast and Ruin III isn't a good idea to have in the Macro.

I erased Swiftcast and Ruin III lines due to high macro failure rate.

I think that macro is a big waste , sometimes you dont have anyone to "Bane" around and you wont gain a stack and the whole marco will end in a big fail, and alot of times you dont even need Deathflare to finish someone you can just save it to finish someone else or do big dmg on a group that is stacking together.Could work yeah but i feel like its a waste, for lazy summoners maybe if they dont mind failing now and then.

You brought the issue of sometimes there isn't anyone to "Bane" around and that the macro would fail.
You could have mentioned that replacing "Bane" with "Energy Drain" would be effective.

Oh well sorry about that,well let me explain myself, even if you use "energy Drain" Your "Bane" can fail if they use purify after "Tri-Disaster"( atleast half second after i get the dots i use purify straightway) you wont get a stack, im not friends of macros specially in pvp if you lag abit it might fail, if you are out of range you fail, IF the macro is not fast enough using "Bane" they can use purify and it will fail, if the target use Attunement/hallowed ground Or if the target just gets blow you are fucked.There are just so many ways that a macro can fail in pvp.

Your idea is great it can work maybe most of times,but as i said is a waste in my opinion.

I'm guessing people just fight each other using popular macros?

I never use macros, but when I do this rotation I start with Tri-Bind so they can't run away or spread, then I might use swiftcast Tri-Bind again in case they Purify.

MAybe it's just my problem but that marco would never work with my latency, even if those are off cooldown abilities, if I macro Tridisaster->Bane, most of time my bane woudn't pop or will hit for 0 HP :/
I just suggest to use it manually, maybe get a pvp hotbar! for your SMN! :D

Great job making Summoners even more predictable for me to purify and completely ruin their macro.

Totally agree, the funny thing is that there are alot of summoners in pvp that macro all shit, i have seen some using Miasma2 when there is no one around LOL.

i have seen today a couple of summoners using Bane when i was completelly alone.


The only thing you can really do is Macro ur pet.

No is not, when they are attaking me or someone they do it right after the tri-disaster lol, its macro'd.
