I want a cape to go with Odin's armor. It looks so odd without it.

I believe the Odin armor originally had a cape like Odin during the Beta, the Fate reward armor that is, but Square removed it for reasons that I can't recall right now. Might have been clipping as any weapons that 'sheath' to your back would do so as well as any weapons on your hip that protrude far enough back. Either way, it's not really a big deal.

I'm just as happy that there are no capes in this game. They look completely stupid if not done well, and very rarely are they done well. Too much clipping, and they never move right. If SE ever did put them in, let's hope they also put in a way to turn them OFF visually. Aside from that, do the devs really need one more piece of gear to balance along with all the rest? Probably not.

Every move of Thordan is scripted, and his model and armor is built to work with his cape. Your model won't be.

Capes BARELY work in DCUO, and its a damn Superhero game.

We already have a cape: Valerian Robe of Healing. It should atleast give you an idea how capes might end up looking in game and to be honest, its pretty meh

This game has serious clipping issues with even simple things like hoods and over priced head accessories, capes are the LAST thing you want to deal with. even the long kilts and skirts clip when characters run or riding mounts if you're not a hyur female or elezen. i can't imagine what that would look like with capes.
