With the release of 3.0, how is this quality of life still not a thing?...

A Tackle box for fishers...

I've been searching everywhere for a reasonable explanation but have come up empty.

The best I have found was the NPC you put into residential areas that sell limited types of bait.

Is it really that hard to make it so that the "bait" ability is a tackle box? Your bait can go into a separate inventory, like key items or its own menu. The tackle box menu can just look like the bait ability when opened. Just have ALL the bait icons in it instead of only what you own being shown. The ones you don't own just have a 0 quantity and the rest is just like bait.

I honestly don't see how hard it is to code that in. I'm sure bait already has a unique code that makes only them show up in the bait action as well as a quantity thing. A new menu just has to accept only those unique codes like key items.

If they won't increase the basic armory/inventory slots..they won't do that either.

How about why can't I put my relic crafting tools in my armoire now that they're useless?

Server and PS3 limitations. Meanwhile the cash shop server provides extra retainers with no problem.

This is actually a very good suggestion. Too bad it's actually a very old suggestion as well, and we've been ignored on it all these years.
It seems like they either don't care, or they just flat out refuse to do it.

Things like this prevent me from playing FSH. To me, it is the least enjoyable of all the DoL classes.

They have limited server tech.
The more information you have loaded up when you play, the more time it takes for the backup save to happen (to avoid long time interval rollbacks on server crashes)

The more data they have to save per character, the more time it takes, that's the reasoning they gave.
Retainers are a different business, since they're accessed much more rarely and by far far less players at a time compared to personal inventories that undergo constant change during play (getting items, switching classes, etc)

They're working on improving the process as far as Yoshida said, but I'm not sure when or if it will translate into more inventory space down the line. Fingers crossed.

Any excuse they throw at us is invalid. They simply don't want to invest our subscription money into anything other than shareholders profit

I would love a tackle box, It's why they got rid of Arrows.
I love fishing and don't tell me retainers because I can't summon them in the field to exchange items.

I waiting for a fate to pop, I pull out my fishing rod.
Or questing and my hubby goes to the washroom, I pull out my fishing rod.
I finish a MSQ CS and my hubby is still in it, I pulled out my fishing rod ones. He got a phone call and couldn't finish at the same time as me.

So what I have read that was posted in a question about inventory. They said the server data is rewritten every 15 seconds so that in the event of a server crash or just a disconnect for whatever reason roll back wouldn't be so bad. If there was expanded inventory it would be too taxing to do it every 15. So knowing that is it safe to assume if the inventory was doubled and the data rewrite went to 30 seconds, would it be the same as half at 15 seconds?

I know with speed runs and boss fights alot can happen in 30 seconds, but how often do servers crash or someone tanks a pole on your road and the internet goes out. I've been playing since April 2014 and maybe lost connection a couple times weather due to a server crash or power outage.

So i guess the real question would be are SE's other products doing well.

Then again, this is a company that views even the sale of millions of copies of a video game as a failure. Its really more business priorities that drive things, not "making the best game".

please look forward to when they drop PS3 support which i heard long ago was when the 4.0 xpac comes out
