why didnt they make the 50 dungons give exp :P for the level upage

I would be surprised if there was a genuine answer to this that wasn't just "They didn't have time."

They release content for this game on an insane schedule, so it wouldn't surprise me that they just have to cut corners everywhere. Still, it is a little frustrating not to get to partake of the variance of dungeons within that spread to remove some of the monotony of grinding.

I believe the reasoning was to prevent spamming of dungeons such as brayflox for ezpz EXP.

Well, the high level roulette is an exception. Mainly I think its not to force people to run them. They are after all old content, and they were 'enf content' once, so exp wasn't implanted, so why bother implanting it when you can add new dungeons. As for the old "Low Level" dungeons, well, they were implanted with EXP and still using since players still need to level up, plus why removing what is already implanted.

So its a fair thing, I feel bad about the high level roulettes that are abondoned after wasting a fair good amount of time. Add to that the importance of high level roulettes are lowered since they don't give the fresh Esoteric tomes and only Law tomes which can be obtained from other sources and are unlimited.

because lv50 dungeons are not designed to be leveling dungeons. they allowed people to use i130 gears in dungeons that meant to be cleared with i70 to 90.

Still, they could allow them to give exp at least up until you reach 51.

Yeah, the official statement is that the dungeons would be abused for incredibly easy experience (they are all super fast to speedrun), and thus there would be a lack of people in actual lvl 51-60 content.

New players get to 52 just by doing lvl 50 MSQ.
Old players on their first jobs will easily get to 51 with the Ishgard MSQ and side-quests.
Old players on their secondary jobs are the only possible issue, but with the Armory Bonus and NT Fate-zerg, it's also no problem.

The Wanderer's Palace (Normal) can be done in 5 minutes or so. imagine if each mob gives 1k EXP and each boss gives 10k EXP...

No , just by doing the 2.1 to 2.55 main scenario is not enough to get to 51, I was at around 500 000 exp into level 50 by the time I got to Ishgard.

Were you avoiding roulettes and stuff?
I've watched a streamer play through lvl 50 quests, and he ended up like 50-70% past 51.
