Also, they adjusted the size of anglers, orobons, and crabs which likely mean they are now probably twice their usual size >.< Starting to think they have no plan to decrease some of the other mobs size (looking at you dodos-bird!) and will just finish making every mobs bigger.

The world is going to look different already. They added a bunch of new NPCs along with the rest of the content. I never read through the whole Item list changes before but they added 30 vendor NPCs alone. Combined with Beastmen strongholds, GC Changes, Airships and Chocobos it's going to be a good bit more fleshed out. If only they would put the servers online already!!!!
Odd enough, some people already finished patching the game...i might only tomorrow tho.
and talking about it...ifrit weapons have much higher delay than normal weapons...axe, bow and staff have 4.3sec...and DoM weapons are 100% blunt damage.
I thought the weapons being only 1 damage type was only for elemental damage...but seems it's for everything.
EH?!?? Why?? They took out monster behaviour and now the parts that can be destroyed too? Why?? Is it to re-implant it better at a later time or something?Quote:

It's mostly humanoids that you can't incapacitate. Other monsters (such as coblyns) remain off the list.
Things I didn't notice before, but not sure if new:
They put more mobs in certain areas (like treespeak, lol yay stealth)
[dev1192] Enemies no longer attack players immediately upon contact, regardless of how it detects.
[dev1160] Gathering points whose grade is relatively high for the player can now be exploited a greater number of times before depletion.
Huh? What is your point? FFXI had dodos but they were big reptilian avians. If you are talking about XI's Khimaira, Chimera are a staple of Japanese Mythology and Coeurls date back to the 30s sci-fi novels. Really not sure what your getting at here... Sounds like you are mad they are keeping consistency of their franchise in the use of Mythology and franchise history. Do you want them to call bombs Kirbys?
