The download client is weird. remote connections 0, local connections 25. it occasionally jumps up to 800KB/s and then down to 5KB/s. inching its way to completion. This happening to anyone else?

but... it really depends what that 646 megs is.
Rewriting the code one byte at a time will take a tremendously longer amount of time to add up than say...
adding a brand new instanced dungeon with lots of pretty cut scenes and huge file sizes.
Damage algorithms, if i am not mistaken, go ONE byte at a time. -

Download speed is bouncing around pretty wildly for me as well but it's gone 10% in under 10 minutes so I should be ready when the servers come back up.

Mine is going extremely slow. :( Not sure why. The previous patches (when I reinstalled things recently) went pretty fast. I'm only getting like 10k/sec average. ._.

as soon as the patch started downloaded, it completely raped my internet connection....
i have a super fast connection on comcast, and its' slow or not loading at all the moment the patch started.
the patch is only going 33-150KB/s down and 20KB/s up right now. doesn't matter the up/down speeds, the rest of my internet is completely dead. it took tons of refreshes to get loadstone to load.
what is with this patch program? i can't get on vent, check email, nothing.
does it use all ports or something??? -
