QOL Gathering change

I'm sure this has been suggested before, but I really don't see why Truth of the Mountains and Truth of the Forests are not castable while mounted like the Call spells are. It's incredibly tedious to have to dismount, cast the truth buff, then remount if I switch from one gathering to another.

Alternatively, just make it a passive trait like Triangulate is. Have it automatically activate upon switching to the class, take out the muss and fuss.

They both should activate when you change to class. I ALWAYS activate both of them immediately, and it's annoying to have to do it every time. I understand there are times when you want to turn them off, like the other day I was gathering favours and didn't want the message to keep coming up, so turned them off, but this is very rare, so they should activate automatically, and turning them off if needed should be manual, not the other way round as it currently is

I use macros for this (change gear + Truth of the Mountains + Truth of the Forests, ~4sec of casting)

this is probably why it's not automated, because people don't always want messages coming up

Heya! Sorry for posting so many threads this morning, but this is a constant pet peeve of mine.

Can we have it so we can activate Truth of Mountains/Truth of Forests while mounted?

I support this idea! I'm having a hard time imagining reasons why this one is inactive by default, especially when a very similar skill (Triangulate) is active.

All the times flying toward a node and realizing that it wasn't active... it wasn't so bad when we were land-locked because it was easy to hop off your chocobo, activate truth, and hop back on. I'm afraid gravity is now a big issue when attempting the same thing on a flying mount D:

This should have been traited to come on by default with level 51.

We’re planning to make it possible to use certain miner abilities such as Truth of Mountains and certain botanist abilities such as Truth of Forests while mounted.

Could we also get Collector's Glove while mounted as well? I mean 90% of anyone that is activating these "truth" abilities, are also clicking on Collector's Glove right after/before. So if you don't do them both imo it wont make that much of a difference.

The Truth skills should really be traited to come on automatically when you change to Miner or Botanist. Collector's Glove should be set usable while mounted.

Truth of the X shouldn't be auto-casted. I don't want to see those messages all the time. I'm sure I'm not the only one. However, make them castable while on a mount. Makes everyone happy.
