Idunno, but it is nice indeed. But I've always rightclicked+show image on the background for all special events. So good pictures so i'm collecting them.

Edit: Looking closer, the pattern seems to match the Male version of last years Yukata.
But if I recall, there were some Yukatas way back that might be it.

They don't match the design of either Yukatas from the Moonfaire last year, and they brought back the 1.0 ones that time too.

I'm debating making my own thread about this but...

It doesn't look like the bombard lamp is making a comeback this year. That was a housing item reward last year, which was a ceiling lamp that cannot be removed without DESTROYING it. I've had the lamp on my basement ceiling for a full year now (along with christmas wallpaper), because I don't want to lose the items without knowing if I can get duplicates later.

Do you think they will add the bombard lamp to the mogstation? It would be the first housing item if it was added, but that would be bizarre to spend real money on a housing item that is destroyed every time you change the ceiling lights. And no, seasonal housing items have not been added to the calamity vendor.

I'm a little upset that "gear equality" means guys can't get the cute semi-one piece and girls can't get the swim trunks.. Like good on SE for not adding to the imbalance, but I really wanted those shorts.

....now if they'd only allow us to dye the previous year's swimsuits too :)

Same. As a Lalafell, most "sexy" female gear fails completely when worn. I was hoping for the vest/shorts to at least hit somewhere in the region of "cute".

Oh, well; another holiday set to be unceremoniously tossed into the Armoire and never seen again... at least, there's the Wind Chime.

Is it just me... are are the tangas dipping lower and lower each year? I mean, just from the icon it looks like we've gone well into bikini-waxing territory...

... I'm gonna be super bummed if the old swimsuits aren't available too. I just started playing Feb this year, and once I found out that swimsuits came from this event I've been waiting and waiting and waiting. The swimsuits available are awesome... but I had plans for a glamour with the green bikini...

guess I'll find out next week

I'm betting that all the past event gear (bikinis and yukatas) will be in the cash shop. New gear will be the only "free" gear.

Gonna be mad if we can't get the yukatas. Been wanting em since I saw em last year but was going through chemo at the time and couldnt start playing again to get em. If I have to get em through the cash shop, fine, just make sure they're available in some fashion, SE!

I'm with this guy.

The trunks could have been made male+female. No reason to limit it to male only. Make it like those short hot-pants on females. It may not go with this year's female swimsuits, but it can be matched with bikini tops from previous years.

Yukatas please! Definitely!

I don't get it. Whenever we get a seasonal event, they've always added the old seasonal items to the cash shop. A vendor in-game? Highly unlikely at this point since it's more economical for them to add it to the cash shop.

Always? Then explain how I got my 1.0 yukata as a non-legacy character.

Only 1.0 stuff was sold on vendors, everything from 2.0 has been added to cash shop

The plain southern seas swimsuit will definately be an addition to my wardrobe, :)
