New to FF

I am totally new to FF, joined the Free Trial a few days ago.

The kindness and helpfulness of other players has been amazing. I was dreading my first 3 Duty dungeons (required to progress the main story), but everyone in all three groups were friendly, helpful and made sure I knew where to go and what to do. I had a great time, fun and no stress.

Even while just running around the city high level players have sent me a /welcome or asked me if I was lost (which I often am!)

So now I have purchased the game and I am a full player! Just wanted to say thanks to this great community who make new, inexperienced players feel welcome, and not stupid as happens in some other games.

Glad to hear you had a good experience. There are some bad eggs in the community, but as you've seen there are also many nice people too, so just ignore the bad ones if you are unfortunate to encounter any :).

I've been playing for a couple of months, and have also seen a wonderful community here. I had much the same fears about the required group content, but so far it's been pretty good! :)

I play for the 2nd day now. And i must say I love this community, everyone is kind and helpfull (met one guy 5 times each time he /welcome me) just like you said.
I've never experianced such kindness in and mmorpg ^_^.
I feel now like i must play it.....forever..........

Welcome! Glad you're enjoying the game. Always stay focused on what's fun. There are people whose goal seems to be to make it not fun. Ignore those people. There are things in the game that you won't think is fun. Ignore those things. Stick with the people and the things that make the game fun.

Welcome Welcome. Always good to see new players being nicely introduced into the game, warms my thump thump place.

As others have said, there are some definite bad eggs, such as people throwing blame all over the place in dungeons. I usually cringe plenty when i see that. (offer pointers, not mean words)

Anyways, welcome again, and i hope you have even more pleasant experiences with this lovely community!
