Alex Super Savage! :p
It is preloading content that will not be available until a future time.
Unfortunately datamining discussion about what is actually in the patch is not allowed.
Data for the upcoming Summer "Moonfire faire" event, perhaps?
I smell incoming of house transfer. This is really big for hotfixes o_o.
So wanna see the patch notes!
Pet glamor. Pet glamor. Pet glamor.
Oh who am I kidding.
It's been close to a month since they said they wanted to implement the housing transfer system. Might be that plus some more wards and changes to make wards more convenient?
Might have something to do with the anniversary being on August 27th, but probably not.
It's not 600mb. It is 563
From the maintenance announcement:
Pre-loading future content, most likely, as mentioned.Quote:
In order to implement Patch 3.05 hotfixes as well as work on infrastructure
I hope its not housing. ... I'm not ready yet! I was expecting it like sometime next year... so my gil increase has been slower than it should. If it is, I'll be sad cause Hyperion is begging for open plots and I'm sure everyone else is better at the money making game than I. XD
560mb patch warrants a before hand announcement. im so excited!
AST buffs. They've seen enough data about how poorly AST performs in savage so now it's time to make adjustments.
they already stated that they were doing hot fixes and working on infrastructure. I wouldnt expect more than that. Maintenance is important to keep the servers running..
there adding sephiroth his model takes up the 563mb patch and hes gonna kill you in your sleep lol
Those are the two fixes that stood out for me.
- The number of red gatherers’ scrips, red crafters’ scrips and blue crafters’ scrips that can be obtained as rewards from the NPC “scrip exchange” in Idyllshire and Revenant's Toll have been increased.
- The Duty Finder has been adjusted so that players who have been vote-dismissed are not immediately available as candidates for joining a party.
Im not sure what to think about the DF portion of it. I can not count how many times people have tried to Vote kick people out for harrasement when that player did absololutely nothing wrong- and people just hit yes without even thinking anything of it. I can see alot of abuse coming from this, but we'll see..
The DF fix probably required quite a bit of coding as it effectively rewrites how the system works. A very welcome, and long time coming, change!
