Awsome and great but oh my god how funny...
Whats funny about it? Also, this is like the 5th thread about the topic...
arcaic english (do you need it ?)
worthless topic :|
Also excuse the childish reaction but I fully support SE in their future attempts to make me cover my keyboard with coffee. =D
It's not even really Old English. Hell, I don't think you even have to go back to Middle English for this to be right. That said, I knew we were going to get a slew of topics on this one. >_<
ifrit bleeds we can kill it.
ifrit is come to this....
it's just buzz verbage. they have to outdue the HUGE weapons with even HUGER epic titles for post.
I don't trust anything that bleeds for seven days and doesn't die. Let's kill it.
its wrong because its IFREET
I thought that was funny too lol....
I would've had it say:
IFRIT IS NIGH! <-- That sounds a lot more sinister
I hate how people jump on people for finding this funny. I've read tons of archaic english, its all liberal arts, I'm liberal arts too, don't get mad at people on forums because our degrees don't lead to real jobs. Why take yourself so seriously or language for that matter. I myself having a knack and fascination with language, have realized its still all man made BS. SO lets have a laugh, the maturest man in the world might still laugh at "ifrit is come" you know why? Because who takes crap like this that seriously.
And yes I'm a woman, and I still laughed at it, so its not a difference in point of view based on gender. Its not really maturity either, maturity is situational, laughing at Ifrit is come doesn't make you immature, raging at people for having a little laugh makes you immature.
"Ixion is Come" was also used when they added Ixion in FFXI.
