Ye I've heard about this happening also, pretty idiotic to say the least. My friend was actually healing, and he pvps on a regular basis, not the kind of guy u want to randomly kick and all of a sudden kick.

Is this often happening at the Maelstrom? I'm from Immortal Flames and I haven't seen this happening at all on my side.

Haven't really seen it happen on my DC in the Maelstrom. I do sometimes see someone get kicked for feeding (running off on their own and getting killed), but even that's pretty rare.

Well, you see... I'm on the same DC as the OP. That makes me a bit worried if this is happening a lot in their GC or if the Adders do the same thing. I've only had one person leaving but that person is quite the known rager in general. But for the rest, from what I've noticed, no kicking has happened.

People kick for silly reasons, had a situation where there would be a kick against a person who is being helpful and giving strategies. Or kicks against people for no single reason, even when they are not doing anything wrong.
Always had voted no unless I see some really problematic behaviour, but when the vote still passes even though the person had done nothing wrong....that sucks.

It takes a lot to make me kick in PVP, if I'm not certain I abstain. Sounds like the op didn't deserve it. I did kick a DRK (not the OP) who was just standing there afk when the score was between 750 and 800 for us and a rival, healer trying to keep them up while they were under attack, maybe the pizza man showed up but I don't queue when I might get interrupted and cost is the game. He basically picked the wrong time to be afk and more than one of us saw it... their lack of effort could be one reason we got 2nd. Their weapon wasn't even drawn. I wonder if the person attacking them was WTF when they disappeared suddenly.

Speaking of feeders, I killed a the same SMN twice in one match today, they were Mael or Flames on Primal don't remember which. They jumped up and down on their dragon mount. Second time came right to our OP solo and did that. But prob hard for their team to know that's what they were doing being mid battle themselves elsewhere. I guess they wanted their free I110 glamour.

And I really really wanted to kick a WHM last night who wouldn't heal me standing right next to me while I was on a 6 person kill streak and at 10% health, had to keep myself alive while under attack via energy drain. I'm like 'heal me' over and over in party chat but no they gotta be casting aero 3. We were winning and match was almost over, I was afraid they might have queued with 4 other people and if I kick voted them it would fail and they'd kick vote me in retaliation which is unfair but happens when trolls queue together.

But if someone is actually trying I'd never kick them. I will kick that WHM though from every party I'm in in the future if I don't see them curing nearby party members who need it.

you are good player Lanika but you rage alot you rage and talk sh*t every match in alliance so i think you deserve that kick :)

I've been guilty of that before. Usually though when I'm one of only 3 players who choose to defend an almost full node and get zerged and it gets taken easily because the rest of the scatters off to battle at nodes they won't even succeed at capturing.

On Primal, people who rage and whine on alliance chat usually get the boot. It's pretty funny cause alliance chat will all of a sudden go quiet, followed by a confirmation from someone that said person was kicked lol.

Hahaha, tbh, I've been in loads of same matches as you, and typing things like "Nooooooooooooooooooooooobs" tends to get you kicked xD you probably provoked people, I think it's more what you say and how you act rather than what you do gameplay wise. Saying that though, I'm seeing so many people take FL proper seriously and raging so much (not you). It's fun playing with you!

I am rearly in rage mode, but that, what i saw today that is a reason to delete the character from this ppl. An 3vs 3 match. We 3 dps against healer tank and bard, I was alone on healer and my other both dps tried to kill the f... tank. I can not believe it, IT CAN NOT BE TRUE!

if ppl waste time, at never attacked nods with the finger in there nose,
if ppl think other player can do the work.

It is failstorm, with 50% useless player, maybe ex flames or adder, maybe with skill like a dead cat... but max skilled in uselees votekick.

I can remember u when I played in mael u ran most of the time alone tried to kill ppl and died. You also refused to heal even if u got ur title (if I remember right). I would say learn to be nice and dont rage/rage quit I can understand the people who kicked you. Oh and btw mael isnt that bad atm all gcs are equal. You probably deserved the kick ^^ anyways be nice and u wont get kicked simple as fu.

I play pvp for fun and not for win/lose. i check the map nad try to support single palyers or catch single enemys.
And i hate it, if both enemy teams are in fight and my member stay at nod like a pussy, swicht of there brain, don't check the map for next attack or support activity. That is not pvp...

Even if flames werent losing, a stray AST is far far from a free kill. Need at least 4 other people to have a chance to get their hp down.

Lets clear some things up shall we since your video seems to cut out the entire match and only shows your supposed reason why you got yourself kicked. :)

That entire match you constantly went off solo looking for kills and constantly ended up being killed (same exact thing happened in the next match 1/5), the healer constantly requested you defend with us so they could heal you but instead you kept telling us we were doing nothing and continued to try and be a 1 man army. It then got to the point were I assume it was the healer had enough of trying to convince you and so decided to remove the problem since you made no effort to fix it and I very seldom post on these forums so chances are I won't be replying any further to this, so good luck to you and I hope for your sake you change your ways and if that wont happen then you can always change GC if the Maelstrom isn't right for you.

Also regardless of the match video being cut, I saw that last clip she was with the team defending a node when she got kicked, not out solo

why not extend this further, why not start kicking people to "just defend" the one node the team has when you are in last place

It's a case by case circumstance, and the OP's scenario in the video is completely different from what you're bringing up.

Oh, and just for bonus points at the end when she finally ran back to her team, she was spamming physic to try to top herself off and wasting the paladin's cover, instead of gaining high ground with the paladin to recuperate properly.

It just seems like a case of a dps who wants to go rambo and try to get solo kills, goes too deep or doesn't pay attention to enemy positioning, dies, and complains that his team was not there providing support when they had more important objectives (like holding nodes with a lead before the 10 minute mark) As someone who makes raid calls, nothing infuriates me more than people who somehow get 5 deaths and less than 3 kills because they always rush into the enemy group because they were tunnel visioning on a individual who eventually gets baby sat by a healer (or is a healer). That alone is 25 points lost from deaths and transferred to another GC. Now when you have the audacity to complain bout how you're the victim of all that or complain at the team for not helping, well...

I really can't think of anything else otherwise seeing of how she plays in her recording, as well as people in the same data center attesting that in this topic.

Your do not see the problem, I was in fight and than joined an 2nd enemy becaus he saw the 1 single point at map + supported his healer, and my mates....? Are all useless at the nod. And that all matches. This meating with an astro was only a random situation, why I should not try to kill him, where I should try it than? We have not a duall system.

@ CeveArthu, my ping will be a bit high for Ultros, this server is to far away.

Actually, you're the one that didn't see the problem because you closed the map, otherwise you would have known that you were chasing straight into an enemy territory because you were literally right in front of it. It was a fool's suicide mission to even chase that far in front of their base and would've just fed more kills.

Just had this happen to me! all because a certain person was giving another player hassle an told him to go back an Pve. So i just said no my Q times will go up ty an bang kicked!

At 1:05 in your video you target the monk and attempt to attack it. Even though you are not in range, you kind of "glitch" and keep facing him repeatedly while moonwalking at **sprint** speed.

well, you need to be facing in the right direction every server tick for it to actually do its job (ability to block and parry while running away, deny positionals)

assuming this is a 30hz netcode, you would need to be doing double that to be consistant, enjoy hammering F that fast >_>

you're basically asking people in a competitive mode (although extremely casual mode) where the goal is to win...to not try to win a mode they (for whatever reason) enjoy to play. You're also neglecting a very large portion of teammates that only play for free esoterics and dont even bother trying to participate properly, because esoterics is a flat reward and they dont care about others.

combine the above with the fact that 80% of players in FL are generally people who:
1: havn't played any pvp outside of casual formats
2: think they know better than everyone else because they've played casual formats for so long
3: are extremely vocal about the above point

will always cause clashes and disagreements, where the tryhards are actually no different to most other players skill wise
