The bad news is that it doesn't look like the broadcast tomorrow will be to show off the future of FFXIV. The good news is that it looks like they are planning to drop 1.20 in about a month from now.

It doesn't prove anything. But given that 1.20 is expected to be more minor compared to 1.19 and 1.21, I don't think a month or so is too unreasonable a time-frame. -

I just don't see what we can ask about 1.19. We wont have played it yet. The patch notes tell us everything it contains. Until i have played it i don't think i'll have many questions.

This is a let down, I dont care much for asking Yoshi questions, i do not care for his favourite colour or his choice in shoes. As for 1.19, I have no questions, because we havent played it yet and we've already asked a bunch from the notes.
All we wanted was to ask about the future and now we cant. Ah well in a month++++ we can. -

They announced something, people started speculating about all kinds of stuff (they're gonna talk about the future! HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT! They will let us ask about jobs and map revamp and expansions and all kinds of stuff!) and the final result is.....exactly what they announced it would be!
Now, it's time for people to be "disappointed" because SE didn't met up their expectations.
Just another day around these forums.
But to be fair, I do sort of hoped they would answer at least a bit about these kind of long-term issues and revamping, but I guess that these answers may be answered on the next live letter. -

Wtf is the point of this live letter? I can't think of a single question that won't be answered within a few hours of playing the game after the patch hits. I see that it says we can also ask a question about a patch in the near future, but we don't know what the next patch is...how are we supposed to know what will definitely be included in 1.19a or 1.20 to ask him about it?
Man this sucks. I looked forward to this live letter, but it seems like it will just be a let down. Hopefully it won't. Btw, when is the patch supposed to go live? -

There's no pleasing this playerbase, it's been obvious before but now it's just official. This live letter does exactly it's purpose, you ask questions pretaining to 1.19 which if you read over the patch notes...

He can go more into detail on certain things that weren't fully explained there. See? It's only worthless for those who only care about information about stuff that's still out of reach. Questions about Yoshida is fine since he's always been in the background since being at Square, he is now in the foreground.
Whenever people had the opportunity to ask Nobuo questions, they jumped all over it, but heaven forbid the guy in charge of the game you want to play gives you the opportunity >.> -
