Next New Primal

So with Ravana being Fire/Earth and Bismark being Water/Wind Im curious to see what the next could be if they continue with such, Ice/Lightning, any thoughts? If not what would people like to see as a primal or tiral? :D

Maybe next patch wont bring a primal, but instead a trial battle with a Ascian or a Imperial soldier etc. I reckon we are going to stay away from the 1 Primal trial per patch.

I think in this game the Warring Triads are considered primals, while not new obviously i expect them to be future fights.

Most seem to say that it's the Lunar Whale, but I guess I can see that as some kind of prison holding something, it does have a gaint looking door in front of it, and looks pretty allagan...the fans of floating primal prisons, heh

I've said this before, yes...

I know I'm wrong but I have this aching feeling there will be a duty or trial forcing us to again kill our dead best friend. Haurchefant could be wished back as a primal (much, MUCH less likely than seeing Ysayle as such for allll the reasons) because there is a primal type we've yet to see who came into FF at the same time as Bismarck and the Warring Triad:

IDK what element it would be. Light, maybe?

I have another theory regarding weak Asciians having to possess corpses (SMN) and possible heartbreaking things from that but that's another conversation

basically for primals Unicorn/Ixion or it could be Asciian nonsense and no Primal for a patch.

...I would kind of love to get the Magus Sisters, though. That'd be nuts.

Doesn't Bismark cover Thunder along with Wind and Water, considering he can summon storms?

I think the next primals will be the Warring Triad, seeing as their bonds have weakened and they are beginning to stir.

Ixion could be fun. Dark/Lightning. Jumps from island to island in the Sea of Clouds and you have to chase after him with mounts. Walk up, he's sitting there, gnawing on some delicious grass. And BAM.

I want Ultima Weapon Extreme. I wanted it in 2.0 and I still want it. HM Ultima is still my favorite fight. I know people complain about recycled content, but those people would complain about anything. They live sad lives.

I hope it has a game over cut scene like bismark and vishap did if you let the said objective was failed like the gate/island.

OMEGA Weapon is still a thing isn't it? I remember it coming up at the end of ARR, I'm sure we'll see it at some point.

No thanks to a "game over" cut scene. The less cut scenes I have to keep skipping through and the less I have to wait for the rest of the party to skip it, the better.

Ice and lightning? They could either have an entirely new primal (Ravana) or revisit old summons (Bismarck's first appearance was as an Esper from FFVI and has a few other appearances since then). If they revisit and use that elemental setup, how about a Unicorn/Ixion one ((FFVI and X)? I know some posters have discussed that one before and its heartbreaking implications. >_>;;

If there is no pattern, I would like to see Maduin get used in the series again. If entirely new, well, that's up to the developers and writers.

So turn them off? Even as a new player theyre rarely that long.

In terms of primals Id like to see.. Id actually like to see an original character more than one brought back from an older FF game, but if I had to choose then I dont duppose its totaly impossible for Cait Sith at some point. We already have the minion.

Next primal I'm almost positive will be Ixion.

Ixion, Mist Dragon or Seraph.

Other than that, there are still quite a few summons from previous Final Fantasy games they could pick for the next primal(s).

And worst case scenario, they could always create a brand new one for this game (ie. Ravana).

I would like to see Maduin/Madeen.

I think Ilberd may be willing enough to summon a Primal version of Rhalgr the Destroyer in 3.X era MSQ.

The WT are considered "Eikons." Although that's the term used by the Garleans to describe primals, the word is much older and refers to a broader category of creatures/beings, term used by the allagans. What exactly is an eikon and how does it differ from a primal, I don't know. I imagine the WT to be somewhat similar to Midgarsolrm.

As for primals, literally anything is game now. A freaking fictional city from a book is now a primal. Any legendary hero/being can be a primal if enough people pray and it has enough aether to manifest itself. I'm hoping Belias makes an appearance in the main story. Niddhogg from the drg story was brought over the the main story, so it's possible Belias can be brought over from the smn story.

Its time for Ixion (Lighting/Darkness).

This is the dumbest theory ever, but it also MY thoughts too and any time I mention it to someone in game they horrified it might be true.

I feel like Haurche will come back in some tragic way. Not alive but still dead and corrupted either as an Asciian or as Ixion.

If an Asciian appealed to House Fortemps and the Count they might go along with it not knowing what they're doing and fart another primal out into the world. And it would so be a unicorn. Well...the Count or possibly Lord Francel de Haillenarte. I don't really know much about Francel but he's still bumming around Dragonhead being extremely sad.

Ixion, Warring Triad, Doomtrain, Valefor, Zodiark, are what I want to see.

I dunno whether it's an entirely original design or a callback to a previous thing in Final Fantasy, I hope it's both of these two things
1) A "girl" primal.
2) Looks as monstrous as Ifrit does (Aka please not another "Elegant looking lady" or a "Sexy monster lady" ).

Valefor would be nice. Or Yojimbo!

I'd like this. I remember feeling disappointed that Garuda was a lady with feathers instead of a horrible birdstrosity.

Plant-type Primal would be interesting.

After Ravana, I'd prefer more original primals personally.

Hard version of the last MSQ trial(ala Ultima Ballad) would also be nice.
