Eventually in about one year of time, since my new life includes children.. and that I cannot spend 20-40 hours per week playing.. sigh..
On the plus side, real life is wonderful! ;)

Ok, then what?
Damn, having to become a 'filthy casual', how life has made mockery of your talent. Seriously, why is being a 'filthy casual' such a stigma? So you have a life, something has to give semblance of meaning to your existence. Games sure won't.
I'm kinda confused.
he's just sad he wont have time to farm the new mount
Gratz on the kid, just enjoy the chill nature and do stuff late with a casual FC. It is a lot less stressful :D.
Congratulations, children are the best and most treasured of minions.
Fatality! good luck brother
I get you, OP.
As a casual myself I was sad that I needed to do 200 high level duties as DRK for the mount instead of just leveling DRK.
Y'all don't want me tanking high level duties, it's for the best. Probably.
I haven't actually tried tanking in this game yet.
Hey, hey SE, where is the "But Somebody's Gotta Do It (Black Mage)"? I can get that one. Is it because we're dps? DPS are special too :(
Congratulations on the new family, though!
This particular style of MMORPG does have a habit of making someone feel left out if they can't keep up with content, though. It's probably one of the weaknesses of the genre all around.
I personally find this to be a hurry up and wait situation. People will push as hard as they can to complete the current content and then just wait until the next patch is released. I think if more people realized you don't have to have BiS, people would relax a bit more.
Gratz on the Kiddo's. being a parent takes your life in a totally different direction. It's a good one though. It's not a bad thing to have to leave the World of NoLife to deal with RealLife. RealLife can be tough, but quite rewarding. wish you the best.
I think we all have a life. Some just use video games to pass some times and other have it as a hobby. Just like playing soccer with friends on weekends, everybody agree it's about having fun, but some will want to do it well just because they feel good doing so.
Gratz on the sex.
meh
doesnt even look good
I don't like kids for myself and will never have them, or try.
Funny thing is, I'd like to be a Pediatric nurse.
I rather take care of sickly kids than take care of my own...but it's going to suck ass when
I get close to some and they probably pass away. I dunno if I can deal with that with my own flesh and blood passing.
A little personal here but yea.
I dunno what the hell OP's talking about so whatever lol.
I know, my mom swore up and down she wouldn't have kids....has 3.
My supervisor didn't wany any either, married, taking care of wife's kids...then goes to work and deals with me.
MUWAHAHA.
Ha, I feel you there. And then we get the "Oh you'll change your mind when you're older!" group which make me rofl, because obviously, they know what we feel better than we know ourselves.
Amen. Not everyone is a born babymaker.
I don't think she s/he meant it in a rude way.
Everyone says the same thing to me and I really don't want kids but I'm kinda young so I may change my mind...I hope not.
It usually does end up happening though to some people. If I did have a child, it will learn the ways of a Ninja.
I realized, around age 19 or so, that my biological clock was set to kittens. It was kind of liberating realizing that I didn't have to have children to lead a full and active life. Super lucky I found a husband who felt exactly the same way. Our cats are our children, and this way we get to leave all our worldly possessions to our nieces and nephews. Life goal: Be the rich aunt who, upon passing away, makes someone's life turn into a rags-to-riches movie.
Forgot to quote this one XD
THIS! SO MUCH THIS. I have absolutely no desire to procreate, continue my bloodline, have trophy kids because the neighbors have 3 so I've gotta have 3 too... screw that noise!
But looking after others, big people and the little people is where it's at for me. Peds is hella fun :3
[To counter a previous poster: A person's lack of desire to procreate has absolutely no bearing on their ability to take care of a child.]
Also, this song came to mind:

Then there are those who should sever the line. Don't have to be such a d. However I was simply implying that, yes I too said I would never have children, had no desire to have children and wasn't fond of them either, but things do and can change. Thats all. It was just a simple comment about human nature that some do change as they age. So if you want to be a condescending jerk, well again thats your choice.
Real life is a dull grind after age 18, unless you go the college route and prolong it a few more years. It also has some of the worst characters I have seen in an MMO.
Yup. Bestie of 25 years.
Just because I don't like kids doesn't mean I don't know how to make sure they grow up to be responsible people.
They actually listen to me when given directions or orders and their stepdad and biological father both have no iidea how I get them to listen. All teenagers...
