I believe i speak for a substantial amount of people when i say that we are not very happy with the red script situation.

I invite you, the community, to /sign this thread so we get ANY kind of response from the devs. At this point in time i just want to know if they have seen the player discomfort.
I don't need a reply saying they will revise the system, i just want to know if Square Enix is at the very least AWARE of the feelings of the community.

If you also want to hear from the devs dear reader, i ask of you to /sign this thread without any rants, complaints, "feedback" or rage venting. They can read any of the other multiple threads about that.

There have been so many of these threads in the last couple of days, I'm sure they are. However, it would work in your favor and everyone else who is unhappy about this situation to compile everything into one thread vs opening a ton of threads and making it hard to gather all the information and suggestions from the community.

Also you may want to edit your title. It doesn't readout to be a petition.

Not doing any high end crafting until there's some hint from square about this system being changed. Might not be a big deal for one person, but pretty sure I'm not the only one.

They made a reply in the DoL section. You wanted acknowledgment they are listening. There it is, they are.

Though using some common sense you should already have known they were but they obviously want to take time to gather legitimate not exaggerated feedback, get the accurate facts and monitoring of in game data before they make various changes so have some patience instead of over-reacting. Such changes always come after new content and systems get added as they adjust and balance the new content and systems like they always do and unfortunately but understandably that takes time. I expect they will continue to balance such issues over next few weeks and months and this will probably be just one of many minor changes will make.

Personally, I kind of like the way it's gated. i'm enjoying the journey, so it doesn't matter if i get there to the end or not, and besides, they will change things around, lower requirements, etc etc.

The Like button is enough to simply agree. New posts are only needed when contributing to discussion. I think scrips are ok, it could be improved by tweaking the numbers on how many you receive and how much things cost. Some of this is just shock at having progress gated in weekly chunks, but I think people will get used to it. If DoW/M currencies are any indication, gating gets removed over time anyway and all the items will surge in supply. Right now, the are just meant to be scarce and forcing you to make choices.

That is why I LOVE Yoshida and his team, in another mmo we NEVER get listened :)

My current "gripe" is the lack of commonly accessible desynthesis items available for the transition from ARR to HW for certain Jobs, Alchemy being the biggest problem. As of current, you have to run an insane amount of Titan-HM to effectively level Alchemy desynthesis in the high 90's to low 100's, in order to be able to start reliably desynthesizing all the HW items.

Good to know they have answered! All i wanted was for them to say something, since they have been quiet for a while. I don't mind the system that much, it is however way too grindy.

I really trust Yoshi.P a lot i bet they will adequate adjustments.

I will add though that they can only listen if people give feedback, i.e. all of the complaining threads on here about the new system.

There may be some hyperbole in such threads, but the Dev's do need to hear peoples views, this includes both sides.

I guess my biggest problem with the current system is that while you cannot trade scrips or tokens, you can trade the items you buy with scrips and tokens.

It costs 3 crafters tokens just to buy the materials to make one green offhand tool.

The only thing this system does is give incentive to level a new character (not job) to 60 just to use them to buy mats for the character I want to play.

They'll change it soon. Nothing's selling on Leviathan and it's been weeks.

/sign i am crafter since 2.0 i hate the red script system its too much work for nothing, i dont like the amount of unspoiled node i need to gather also for making basic raid food, material cost, and yeilds from crafting are far too low...
