So with eso reset

Are you gunna farm up eso's and spend them on something? Or save them up for your weapon?

I'm torn between saving them up or getting the body this week.

I'm torn too, but I'll probably just grab weapon first. :( As much as I want pretty armor. I still need to figure out if I want ninja gear or machinist gear more first, though...

I've only got one job to 60 at the moment, dabbling in other things well I grind up the rest of my jobs that interest me.
DRK body or weapon, I feel like I'll end up just getting the weapon ...

Chest and pants my priority.

I'm in a progression raid group, so I kinda have to get my weapon. As much as I want to get my SMN AF2, I have to wait for a bit T_T

Getting the weapon first, as it should be. Being a PLD at least the cost of my weapon is split with the shield, so i can get my sword this week then the shield next week.

Something i appreciated a good bit about the Dungeons was that the PLD Shields will always drop when the Sword does.
IIRC, the Expanse/Hive weapon and shield comes as a set too doesn't it? Kind of weird they went back to the old separation of Sword/Shield. I feel like it worked much better when you got both halves of your weapon at the same time.

I only cleared Bismarck EX once for the sake of clear so i cannot confirm myself if both drop together. One thing now though is when you upgrade your weapon/shield (say Law sword/shield) you need both to upgrade them to i180, instead of requiring separate items for each. This also apply to hauteclaire and whatever the shield is called, you need to own both and you need a single item to upgrade them both at the same time, i like that.

I was originally planning on waiting for the weapon myself (takes 3 weeks).
But I have the Ravanna weapon within my sights now so I'm not sure. Got 7 totems so far.
I opted for the Alexander pants, so I might just go for the Esoterics chest piece if I can also get the Hive weapon this week.

I'm a healer, so I'm holding off on the weapon for a bit. I did get my ring first because i200 vs i180 was hard for me to resist... I like shiny things. D:

To my knowledge, when i was leveling to 60, the shield is a bit like a minion drop, it might drop at the end of a level thus adding up to a total of 3 loots to roll on. It did that for Shiva EX, the pony was an added third drop sometimes, same for shield.

I upgraded my belt since I was going from iLv170 to 200...plus it looks like the Eso belt will be BiS for Bard. I really wanted the bow but it actually is not that good.....damn it.

Since War is my main I gotta get the Weapon first, no big deal though I stll got a lot of raiding and primals to catch up on.

Definitely saving up for weapon because it's the best upgrade

Could buy a bunch of wyvernskin treasure maps. I think they give 5 esoterics a chest.

Do Expert roulette + trial roulette once a day, you'll be capped within 6 days.

Got a FC or friends you can run with? Being a tank class I don't really have problems with que times but I know my FC likes to snag people for experts and make their own groups.
Also days after reset are a good time to jump in and farm since everyone wants them.

I want the body piece first. I love the design of the Orison's Robe, so naturally style has to come first ;)

we are all doing the same thing cuase there is only 1 path in this game cuase they removed crafter/gather at top end pve content gg

Spam Seize Rock. I did this with some Expert Roulette run and I capped it like... 4 days? (or viewer, I forget)

Yep. FC is really good. Not the right people online today and many still running MSQ/Lvling. Days after reset is good advice though. I do leave it till late sometimes.

That's the main plan now. I only unlocked Exp last night and the daily reset had already happened so only got to run it for the bonus once.

I'm torn between the WHM chest or saving for the Seraph staff - I don't raid and can heal big pulls easily in all the current experts and do NM Alex easily as well, so I'm not sure the weapon would be any big change, as opposed to finally having something nice to glamour over my Flames robes...*sigh* decisions...

Well Lucrezia's WAR was rocking melded jewelry, but I guess a top fc doing world first progression doesn't qualify as "top end pve"

Deffinitely starting with NIN Legs, than i will be torn between Feet/head (stats) body (glamour) Katana (dps up) depending on how prograss in savage goes and what drops i get my hands on... There are pieces of Eso gear that will BIS 210 with savage items so you better off getting those, as they will meanwhile also help on clears slowly.

I desperately need to save up for my weapon. I made a stupid mistake and grabbed my belt as soon as I had enough saved up.....so now I'm going into the reset with only 75 eso on hand....which by my count means I'll be a week behind everyone getting my weapon.

It's gonna take me four weeks for my weapon, cause I was all like "NEED BETTER RING" and bought and accessory... ;____;

I wonder how many people with the Hive weapon are still looking to upgrade weapon first. As opposed to either the legs/chest they neglected in Alex NM....

Saving for weapon and then chest piece after that as the Alex chest piece is kind of crappy for MCH.

I'm a healer (all three healers are currently i186 with Ravana weapons), so my first purchase will be AST body, then gloves, hat, shoes and finally legs. I will be also be getting the i190 healer belt from A1 and the body from A4 (for my WHM and SCH). So, I think I'm in a pretty decent place.

Lets see, for an archer, accessories give you +dex. Left side armor gives you +dex and +vit. And a weapon gives you +dex, +vit, and +damage. It's pretty easy to see why you should get the weapon first. The weapon will give you the same stat boosts as armor or accessory PLUS the boost in weapon damage.

As an archer, and Bard besides, I'm going to be saving up for the body piece. Weapon... can burn in the pits of the Hive while I farm up the real upgrade, the Hive Bow. Seriously, Square, I could live with skill speed or determination... so long as it had crit, too. But no... you had to go make Artemis 3.0... Crap all over my dreams of Mythic. Yeah, not touching the weapon. Not as Bard, anyway. The Dragoon weapon, though, second to none! Just like Gae Bolg was... I'm seeing a pattern.
