Most efficient way to get red scrips?

I'm trying to figure out what the heck is the best way to grind out my 450 for the week, and as of right now its not looking very good or easy for that matter.


And I'm not enjoying having to spend my folklore timers to get a very minimal amount of scrips either.

I do the 9-10 botony for chysahl greens. You can get 2-3 gathers at 470+
Then I do the 11-12 adamantite ore. Here you can also get 2-3 gathers at 470+

DE+impulsive
DE+Impulsive (if previous impulsive proced, use SM instead)
DE+Methodical (if previous impulsive proced, use SM instead)

This works as long as your perception is high enough. I do not have exact numbers. 649 is high enough though. I get 4-6 red scrip turn ins then you are free to go gather more blue or whatnot. When farming blue I do a crazy schedule that involves copious ammounts of cordial and has me busy from 9-3 non-stop >.<

Why DE before impulsive? DE is 103/155 proc. my previous tests never showed a proc impulsive being affected by DE. Did this change with the patch? It would bring a 103 to 155, but seems a waate of CP.

Why not just SM and impulsive, and move forward based on proc? Aproc gets you 4 strikes at 499. No proc lets you try twice more with impulsive for 3, and no luck gives you at least 2.

Impulsive gives DE to the next appraisal action. It also appears to no longer always crit when it procs. So you require the DE on that impulsive to guarantee you get 155 or you will fail to hit 470.

If you SM+impulsive and get no proc you get 103. From there how are you getting 470 and 2-3 gathers.

DE+impulsive guarantees 2+ gathers at 470+

Example

SM+imp proc 103
SM+imp proc 155
caut+meth 172
caut+meth 115
2 procs and 4 gathers at 500+

SM+imp no proc 103
Now what? You said try again
SM+imp proc 103
caut+meth 172
caut+meth 115

493 and 3 gathers.

SM+imp no proc 103
Now what? You said try again
SM+imp no proc 103
Now what? You have 200gp and 10 wear left and you are short 264.

Where as DE+imp goes as follows
DE+imp proc 155
SM+Imp 155 proc
SM+meth 172
482 and 4 gathers

DE+imp proc 155
SM+imp no proc 155
DE+meth 172
482 and 3 gathers

Or get 0 procs and get 2 gathers
DE+imp no proc 155
DE+Imp no proc 155
DE+Meth 172
482 and 2 gathers

Sm imp proc sm meth de meth gather 4

No proc imp uc if proc meth uc de meth gather 3

No proc imp proc uc sm meth gather 3

No proc uc de meth gather 2.

Same difference i guess.

I am also out of pocket and haven't seen what higher rarity does for scrip amount, but my sequence has a higher potential rarity yield and more flex for including instictive. I guess if the difference i minim then there is no reason.

With the first set of action Sm imp proc sm meth de meth gather 4 I only get 447 rarity and for the other I don't understand :O

Sm imp(103) proc sm meth(172) de meth(172) gather 4 = 447


With the impulsive being fixed this will not work due to needing 470 minimum to turn in for red scrips.

The idea is to supplement 1 Discerning Eye with a Single mind, for every proc you get from Impulsive.
That said, 2x meth wouldnt give 4 collects since it would only give you 155+172+115 -> 442.

Thanks a lot for this info. I haven't spent any time on calculating the best rotation so I really appreciate this. Beats DE*3 ^^.

I haven't been on since patch. It seems if imp procs now it is still 103 instead of 155? If so that breaks my sequence, so sorry for the misinfo :( it wasn't my intention.

Actually, that DE-Impulsive, DE-Impulsive, DE-Methodical, replace DE with SM if the Impulsive procs rotation works rather well.

At best you'll get the 155 from DE/Imp->proc, 155 from SM/Imp->proc, 172 from SM/Method. At worse, you'll use DE three times rather than just once.
