How to fix PvP in FFXIV in three little easy little steps...
- Allow anyone from any grand company per side.
- Remove PVP experience AND ranks, they are silly and stupid. Add actual experience. The same amount for doing a level 51-59 dungeon.
- Add a large chunk of experience and or 40 law/ esotics a day for doing (not winning) PvP Frontline que.

exp is already granted in lvl 30 and 40 matches amazingly
i would be in favour of toning down the exp needed for ranks by a large margin and adding an MMR for ranked matches, have gear allowance based off performance instead of grind
you missed the largest and easiest fix to the queues though, which is removing the rank difference rules in wolves den matchmaking and the gc restriction in FL matchmaking -

People who get capped on their classes role should get 100 bonus currency, and if they are better then everyone else they should get another 100 bonus. -

I "agree" with only your "Allow anyone from any grand company per side." but they seems that want mantain the GC requirement, so I would like to suggest something like:
If you had enlisted in all the GC (and maybe achieved the horse with all of them), you can take part to FLs as mercenary with lower reward or even whitout reward, JUST FOR FUN.
Even if it will be accessible to a small part of players it will improve a lot queue time :/ -

I agree with Sirius-Khan really we wanna kill and be killed, and win, kill people not bots and get the exclusive PVP gear for glamour and we wanna do it faster. For all who wanna play hours and hours like me because ists funny beat peple more than bots, delete GC restriction, put only 2 teams, or whatever so we can play and play and play again pvp very faster and be happy.

it's lore friendly, allows for advanced story telling (can still be on rails), and gives players (at least) the feeling of being in control of their character's destiny -

Granted, occasionally I'll join my own premade and get things rolling, but still. People overestimate what the GC restriction actually does to queues anyway, as people are going to play it regardless of the GC they're in.Quote:
