i180 Accessories have Wasted Points in ACCURACY

SE, please fix this... looks like an oversight.

And revert back the 'no rank requirement' for the i100-110.

It shouldn't be NO rank requirement, maybe lower the rank requirement by 10 and/or cut the cost in half but don't make it none.

But don't steal away the one thing we had that was special for grinding so hard for so long.

That's like vendor-selling Dreadwyrm Gear for 50-200 Law Tomestones. It's insulting to us who've earned it.

And loosen/remove the GC Restriction, please...

Ugh, seriously? Accuracy on PvP gear? =\ Unless, like, they add accuracy requirements to hit drones or SCHs or something, that's just... yeah.

I actually have this theory that they kinda want Q times to be long. They think we will not play the game if there is nothig to grind for. That is what PvP is for! You play it to play, not to grind.

If queue times are this long. ppl grinding for vanity kinda gives up. especially if the gear is not that good too.

Yeah... that accuracy needs to go somewhere and die. The GC restrictions too. At this point, any "lore" they're trying to preserve is a crock of nonsense. We didn't even have to do a quest or sign up at the Wolves Den lol.

**FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE GETS IT!**

They are so crap at PVP, and know it, that they want to make everything a long, labourious grind so that they don't have to think about new content. I *love* PVP in this game, especially Frontlines but I gave up when I was waiting over two hours for a pop during prime time. Two hours where I could only gather or craft lightly because levelling my chocobo or doing another duty cancelled it.

They really need a new team to focus on PVP or it will eventually die off and they'll use it as an excuse to not go forward with newer content.

The current PvP team really needs to get fired, aside from the new kills buff and great map design, everything else gets a F, why is so hard to make PvP a more complete content instead of a side through.

The thing that really boils our pee though is that from day one of PVP we've told them the changes to make. They've even acknowledged and agreed some, yet they haven't implemented them. It certainly makes me feel like the attitude is "it's our baby and we'll bring it up how we like... Why should we listen when advised to vaccinate or told not to leave it alone in the bath? It's OUR Baby!". Unfortunately, parents like that often get a terrible unwelcome shock.

I think the devs are painfully aware of the most obvious fix. However, there are always someone more business minded there to tell them what to do. The accuracy thing however is very strange. I see no reason for it, unless they have some plans for it? New mode that requires accuracy?

Some Accuracy actually is required in PvP, this was true at Lv50 and it's true at Lv60. I noticed misses at Lv50 with zero Accuracy, and the moment I got into Seal Rock I noticed misses, both of which were before factors like Blind or Featherfoot. Completely cutting out Accuracy is a mistake.

I don't think Accuracy on every accessory was required though. I suppose it's nice for dealing with Flash and Featherfoot, but at the end of the day that's probably too much Accuracy. Then again, so what? Morale, and thus PvP gear, is dead as far as utilities goes. Save your Wolf Marks and use some PvE gear with no Accuracy.

This patch would be the one where they shake it like a British nanny.

Bare in mind we dont know the new accuracy cap for lvl 60 pvp, the lack of accuracy on the lvl 50 pvp gear was a detriment to many players who didnt understand that 363 accuracy was the cap for non-blinded 100% hit rate

Was this seriously the case, though? Because I ran around Frontlines for some time as a NIN and don't recall ever missing unless blinded, the enemy had Featherfoot, or the healer I was targeting used that one really awkward dodge skill.

I'm still curious if the hit requirement is different for different Jobs...

On Ninja as well, and for the most part I could rule out Blind and Featherfoot as factors as I tend to enjoy ambushing people, meaning I have no debuffs on myself, and Featherfoot was something you could rule out depending on the target. I'm not entirely certain about the dummies in the Wolves' Den Pier having the same accuracy requirement as other players. It may be different against other players than against mobs of your level, and the dummies there may just be considered normal mobs.

That said, I'll take your word for it since you seem so sure. It's not like I've tested it or anything.

Just strange that I've never really missed without the influence of a buff or debuff. Maybe I just got really lucky so far.

Anywho, thanks for the reply. This matter has been bugging me for some time.

My guess was it was because the left side PVP gear had no accuracy and so they put enough accuracy on the accessories to make the set, if worn in its entirety, viable for mainstream PVE stuff without missing everything. Of course if someone has left side gear that isn't from the PVP set and has accuracy on it, that would of course mean wasted accuracy on the accessories. With the PVP left side gear only being i180 I'm sure I'll have a couple pieces by the time I get to PVP rank 49 or 50 that will be i190 or above to wear instead and so the PVP gear for those slots would be glamour purchases from the start. :/
