... considering 90% of you are still wiping on bismarck ex?
I was thinking damn GG OP, noticed they were from the same server but I didn't recognise them, looked them up on loadstone, has the upgraded Tome weapon -_-
Why because likewise with Bismark ex Ravana ex and stuff that need full parties to participate in. I can't do them cause I don't seem to have people on my server who will allow me to. My servers party finders always say things like looking for more bismark no law bonus. How can I not have the no law bonus if I can't find people who will let me join.
You either do it with an FC or you create the learning/clear party. If you are someone who truly plays solo with no friends/help, these are your options. You will have to build a bit of a mini-PF community on your server so people know who you are and what to expect. You can start an LS for it too.
People gotta cry about savage since their cries were heard loud and clear for Alex story mode.
I had to upvote the OP.
If you can't clear bismark and ravana there is no way in hell you should actually EXPECT to clear a raid that has been compared to top tier raiding content in the past.
If you're going to clear difficult content as a lone wolf, you gotta have thick skin. Start up learning parties in PF. Derp, wipe, derp, rinse repeat. Break into phase experience if necessary. Graduate to clear parties. Some derps may still happen. Remember.. thick skin.
Get better and better. Networking with other individuals at your same level. Recipe for success.
It's tough. It takes some elbow grease. But it will ultimately succeed.
Like I said in another thread. I don't consider myself leader material. Like in rl I consider myself more a follower or in this case a joiner. Not to mention I have a hard time with communication so that would make it even more hard for me to lead things.
No offense intended, but it kind of seems like you're hoping for a carry...
As someone who's more of a follower IRL myself as well, I can say it's definitely out of my comfort zone to create a PF party for learning or clearing. But remember, just because you created it, doesn't mean you're the end-all-be-all leader of the group. Talk things over, and learn to play as a group. If you all are learning together, no one will be looking to you to "lead" because you will all be on equal footing.
It's not always bad to get out of your comfort zone when it comes to making friends...especially if it's to further yourself in the game.
People just like to complain about everything :)
That being said, we have no idea yet what the other floors will bring us.
Damn..... Just because you set up the group doesn't mean you have to lead it, it's a training group, you're there to play around and learn it. It just means you have to put the group into the duty, or you can wait until it's a full group then swiftly promote someone else to leader, you know... if using duty finder is to hard.
I gotta add I cleared all the 3.0 content in PUGs and not in statics.
Yes bismark. Yes ravana. Yes all floors of Alexander and likely will happen with savage too unless it does deliver the difficulty expected.
Those poeple have Alex normal to do. So do Alex normal and stop moaning...
Completely agree. I don't see why people are scared to join/make a learning group, or even let others know they are new to a specific fight.
Everyone needs to learn the fights at some point!
Or you know.. you can wait for echo and completely outgear a fight, without any challenge whatsoever :P
No I'm not seeking or even looking for a carry. Being carried is what people do when they buy runs which to me there I no point in doing. If I need a carry I shouldn't be playing in the first place. I just need people to give me a chance to try bismark and they lime is what I'm saying. For the people that say go do Alex normal I've spread beatean it. To me it was way to easy. Also sorry forgot to add been there done that got the tee shirt tried numerous times with party finder can't even get people to join me through that either.
Seriously, lets call this topic finished now.... go make some learning parties, meet some players who are in a similar situation to you, make a linkshell with those players, become good friends, form a static with them, beat Alex Savage and walk around Idyllshire looking sawg in your BiS gear.
I like how quickly this topic turned from the OP's original message to a mixture of that and jumping on one person because of their complaint....
Sadly a lot of MMO players have this strange delusion that just because they've done something before everyone should have too. Its especially true for the kids who thump their echest and claim themselves to be "hardcore". I just hit 60 on my first class the other day and already have people whine that I can't heal 2 room pulls in Expert roulette due to "still being in scrub gear".
Welcome to today's gamers.
Why are you guys bitching go raid already lol
I've really got to stop reading the forums on patch days.....the negativity is astounding. I'm here at work and just wanting to play the game, run content, raid, or anything haha. Why don't people just play the game and be happy that there's new content at all? That's what I plan to do.
Why are people moaning already? This is the SE forums after all, people complain about anything and everything, lol
I think most people cant truly appreciate how tired of a concept gear grinding is. Thats why there's so much complaining. Maybe eventually someone will get innovative with the endgame idea and do something.. different.
IF YOU PLAY SOLO WHY PLAY AN MMO WITHOUT EXPECTING TO RELY ON PEOPLE?
I don't understand.
I'll give you something positive to read than. =) The negativity on the of the forums represents a very small fraction of the player base only. If it was really bad, we'd see 100,000 of posts and replies but we don't. Most are enjoying patch day. A majority of the time, its the same individuals who picked up the wrong MMO and are hellbent on switching it to another MMO system that complain the most.
I don't understand it either...
I really would like to thank SE. No company is perfect and they are trying to fix things as soon as they can. Sometimes, I think people forget that just because we pay them, they could be perfect robots that do what we bid them to do.
This is their game that they brought to life and wanted to share with others. Again, they make mistakes and really do try to fix things. But they only have a certain enough time to take care of these things. They might have families or love ones that they want to spend time with too. A thank you thread would be nice besides nickpicking every single thing that's 'bad'.
