Because apparently two separate skills (Rend mind and dismantle) on the same 90s cooldown timer with a 10s duration that only reduces EITHER magic or physical damage dealt by a SINGLE target by 5% is okay.
It isn't okay, the effect is EXTREMELY too low for the cooldown and duration.
I don't expect any more DPS improvements for the MCH but for a class apparently based on utility and debuffing we sure as hell don't bring it. Like at all. No, 5% is not bringing it. No there is not a situation that would warrant that 5% making a difference. No, really, 5% is heinously low.
"Muh utility". 5% trivial debuff that no one on the planet cares about.

BTW, BRD and MCH got buffs on 3.01. Wait for after Alexander Savage to see some buffs. You know, when people give feedback on raid content. -

MCH has simply way too many (6) shared abilities, most of which are too situational to that you'll rarely need to use them in a real fight. To put things in perspective, A traited Virus reduces str, dex,mind and int by 15% and has the same cooldown with 90s

They already said beforehand that they are adjusting jobs based on feedback in Alexander(Savage). Whatever was adjusted in 3.05 were changes they felt were immediate. Not to mention, MCH got a real nice boost in damage just two weeks ago.

I played MCH. It is a mess of RNG and poor balance choices thrown together in an attempt to look like a playable class. As far as their utility goes, however, it's fine. Everything else about them isn't. -
