Can we please have quantity selector in more shops' menu?

Implementing quantity/amount selector in addition shops/vendors would be nice.

For example, Scrip Exchange NPC, Grand Gompany's Quartermaster NPC, Ixali Vendor (Oaknot shop).

Currently these shops only let us select and confirm each of the item individually. So if we need to buy 99 Coke and 99 Peacock Ore from the GC, we have to select the item and then confirm every time for 198 times.

This is redundant and arduous.
Please improve these shops to have the better interface just like normal vendors. If you're afraid of people accidentally buying wrong thing for wrong amount, you can make us click confirm twice before spending seals/scrips/oaknots, but please, please, please, let us buy in bulk.

Though I'm happy to see this much being done, many more shops than just Rowena's token shops suffer from this same problem and need the same treatment. I hope you all are not just going to add this to rowena's token shops and leave the rest be.

Thanks for the response, it's nice to see that we'll be getting the change to red scrips, but...what about BLUE gathering scrips? I think that was the biggest offender since you need 9 stacks of 99 to get all the folklore nodes...

* Please allow us to turn in multiple BLUE Gatherer Scrips as well! (you currently need to turn in 99 (NINETY-NINE) Times just for *1* Book.

That's such a silly oversight and annoying for players.

And what about GC items? Because those are the real pain - im making the third airship atm and need 648 (!!!!) Coke for that

Funniest thing about this is this has been a complaint of players since Final Fantasy 1.

I had this joystick NES controller with rapid fire that I'd just tape down when needing to restock potions.

Un-needed confirmation dialogs littered everywhere, yet things that you know the player will be buying in bulk because you force the player to do so gets no quantity selection.

Something needs to be reviewed in your UI design principles. Seriously. This is a systematic problem.

Responses from SE reps are nice, but that response is really disheartening :( We've been waiting for this feature in GC menus for a long time, and now it's gotten worse with the low seal prices and the high mat needs of FC crafting. Clicking 1,400 times to buy 700 of an item is really absurd, not to mention all the clicking to turn in a pile of items to get the seals back to buy more... Hearing that the multi-purchase feature will be added to another menu but not the GC menu where it's more needed is really upsetting. The tokens are finite in need. The GC mats are not.

Seeing as you are so quick to respond to something which has just came out last week, can you finally address the PvP forums with some Dev feedback? PvP has only been plagued with tons of QoL issues since FL came out... I concur they badly need to update the GC menu too. Though I'm glad at least one vender is getting the upgrade.

Ok, looks like the latest hotfix brought in the change for red and blue scripts as Zhexos said. That'll be a nice improvement.

But the GC part is still desperately needed.

One down. 2 more to go. Ixali isn't too bad because I don't need to buy the glue in bulk anymore. The coke, though. The coke! The coke is a huge problem and a big pain in the arse. T_______________T

As a note, a quantity selector was NOT added to the scrip vendors. Instead, a new purchase option was added: 5 tokens for 250 scrips. This decision is a little annoying since I tend to buy 9 at a time, so it barely saves any time at all. I really wish they either gave us a real quantity selector or made it so you could buy 9x for 450 scrips. Most stuff you buy in bulk in this game, you want in groups of 9 anyway. The decision to make it only 5x baffles me.

This is different and not something that will ever happen. If I want to sell a group of 23 rosewood logs as a bundle there's a reason for that and I wouldn't want you to be able to select to buy just 1, or 22, or whatever, other than how I listed it.

More on topic: same issue is present in Moonfire Faire. A very popular way to get tokens for buying the festival items is the battered fish quest. You need dozens of turn-ins, each requiring you to select npc, start quest, accept, select npc, select thing to turn in, accept, click-click-click. Yes, it's only once you have to go through the whole thing - and then not until the next year. But it doesn't change the fact you'll need hundreds of clicks to go through the process when all that was needed was a background story when first talking to NPC, then instead of quest-that-isn't-quest, make the NPC a merchant with quantity selector - who takes battered fish as payment.

If the problem is that the client itself doesn't support using anything other than gil in quantity selections (I don't recall seeing anything sold with other 'currency' with quantity selector), then a trade vendor with bulk options (say 1, 5, 10, 50) would be adequate in this case.

(Random tip) You can use the numpad on the right of your keyboard to move the mouse around. 0 is 'Confirm', '8' is up, '4' is left, '6' is right. 7 and 8 change tabs. So if you wanted to buy coke, you'd move the cursor down to it (using 8 to get to the right tab, then 2 to scroll down to Coke).. then 0,4,0 to buy. Then spam 040040040040040040040 until you get the coke you want :D No more using the mouse!

This is all that matters. When I fill up my GC seals and have to spend them I cringe. I want 2 stacks of Coke, but I don't want to actually click enough times to get 2 stacks of Coke. It really wears out my fingers for no real reason.

It actually is. Clicking a mouse repeatedly is much more likely to cause harm to your carpel muscles. Also, it's harder to use the mouse when you're watching TV or reading, whereas you can easily hit a number sequence repeatedly while not paying any attention.
