MCH Gear/style request

So I know BRd and MCH share similar gear. But going forward can we have more tech/engineer styles for MCH. Since they are the only job that uses explosives/technology. I think their styles should be more reflective of that.

I think styles like that will draw more players into the MCH job. And more people playing different jobs mean more reason and longer people stay subbed.

Think about it devs! :D

I'd love to see some of the steampunk/techie style gear too, especially with the whole steampunk theme of Alex (from what I've seen, I have yet to get there, busy schedule *shrug*). Unfortunately I only see that kind of gear coming with MCH AF gear =/

None of us have gotten our AF2 or Job Specific Gear that makes us look like our intended jobs. I believe it's coming next Tuesday. Please look forward to it! :D

I won't get my hopes up, just like how healer sets sets favour WHM over SCH in terms of aesthetics; Aiming gear will have a more bard look to them

I would much prefer to have "some" of the guns feature just the gun itself and not the toolkit by your hip for that more gunslinger look.

I certainly agree that style and aesthetics are a big draw to the class ... it was one of the big reasons why I wanted to level Machinist, but our gear is tied to Bards. While I appreciate how midway the gear has looked thus far ... drawing more from total 'tier' aesthetic rather than class by class ... it does leave one a bit wanting.

I am curious why the hip pack doesn't change depending on the gun's look ... it's always the same lol

Agree with some Machinist appropriate gear, so long as it fits the art style or if they give us the outfit of the original Machinist:

Personally I don't think he gets enough credit, he was quite a useful character in FFT.

All in for more steampunk looks, Bards will look good in them too afterall!

I kind of just want more trim, form-fitting gear both for my MCH main and for casters and healers in general. There are too many robes and, on top of that, too many identical robes with a palette swap. Understandable that multiple new gear pieces are a time-and-resource-consuming, but I can dream hahaha.

He really never got enough credit. I assume most people didn't bother leveling him to see how useful he could be. I'm not sure about his clothes though. They just don't suit my tastes for machinist. Personally, I'd prefer something more like cowboy clothing, heh.

Most of MCH's guns are absolutely boring.

The one one that looks remotely interesting is the Poetics gun and Ravana weapon. All the others literally look like the basic carbon copy rifle.
