3.0 PvP Guessing game.

So i thought I would make some wild guess feel free to add crazy or serious.

1. Rank goes to 50 and we get a generic set
2. New map will have no ledges. Nerfing healer kill rates.
3. We will have a section where Bards can limit break and mow everyone down.
4. Silly DPS will still try to solo healers.
5. Healer sets will still have Bows on the behind. (Really they needed to wrap that?)
6. Teams of all SMNs will run rampant stacking 24 dots on you at a time calling for the great SMN nerf.
7. They will add in a fourth faction to mock the que complainers.

Full STR Warriors running rampant Fell Cleave critting healers for 8k+

Gonna lol if I see that.

More PvE enemies shaped like squares, circles, pillars and other shapes with just an AoE spam.

- Astrologian's unique PVP ability (AOE heal, remove negative status on party members, beneficial status on enemies) causing much heartache when they manage to strip the aethyrflow stacks off of all nearby SMN's and SCH's.
- Premades consisting of multiple Summoners who coordinate their deathflare casts to within a second of each other on the same target dominating matches.
- Bards realizing that Wanderer's Minuet sucks 100x as hard from a PVP perspective
- Shutting down BLM's Enochians by interrupting their Blizzard 4 casts is such a regular thing we get new threads about attacks interrupting casts. The ratio of BLM's reverts back to the pre-Slaughter mode days. Much unhappiness over how difficult it is to keep Enochian up on top of the additional Flare nerf (to which Bards reply 'at least you can actually use your new job abilities, when we use ours our casts get interrupted' and then the BLM's reply 'welcome to our world').
- A team's chance at success still relies heavily on the competency of their healers, and yet they are still more likely to get all the blame for when their team members get killed in PVP, and none of the credit when they don't.

New Frontline rules makes it so a 72-main PvP battle divides into 2 factions: Ishgard Knights and Heretics. Which team you end it will be random.
Ishgardians will have the duty to defend the castle from the Heretics invasion.
If by the end of the timer the Castle is still standing it'll be the Ishgardian's victory, but if the Heretics destroy all facilities then they take the win :v!!!

Ishgardians can repair facilities but will need to change into a crafter class to do so v:!
Heretics on the other hand can bring upon the Dravanian horde to help out siege the castle walls :v!!

My 3.0 PvP guess is...

Storm Rider will return to the Flames 8D

Queue times will still be over 30 minutes.
There will be still no mechanics in pvp maps except three - stack on middle and do your best dps rotation. Run away once during a fight to kill one trash mob. Stack as many mages as you can.

I was thinking about it since i got a second rank 45. Debating about switching to the evil adders to get all to 45.

Oh and to add one more ilvl cap will be 190 (please dont be true).

Going to be Capture the Flag...and I am still never going to play it...PvP is not fun.

Flying mounts allowed, new map is twice as big than cartenau flats and looks like a big sea of clouds, except it has a darker atmosphere

There are outposts on different floating islands

Big ball of doom (or rather, big ball of lots of points) appears at some islands every 3min

Each "faction" starting point is random from 5 possible locations

Level sync to 160

Ppl want to nerf healers further into the ground. Take away sprint and the ability to do more than 1 dmg.
Flying slow debuff complaints.
X / y axis too clunky for pvp.
Too many nodes to kill.
Same ol bs from previous pvp lol

I usually pass 80% of my time to play pvp in mmo, but until it becomes more popular in this game i wont queue for it again in FFXIV.
We need really fast succession of match to improve ourself.
Doing only one party every 2 hours against players who already train themself for month or year is leading to nothing good.

My guess is, that the new mode will be another "Oh, hey Dave. We need a new frontlines mode for tomorrow, can you quickly throw something together? Just like you did before with slaughter." type of mode. Therefore, i am not very exited to see the new one. Chances that its poorly developed are super high so better dont expect wonders here. Just remember what they said about the super 2.5 pvp content and compare that to the stuff we got.
