This was just a thought, but I've been wondering what it would be like if they had the use of the roulette system for daily bonus rewards linked to a pool of "tries" like they have with the leves. Most of us would probably still do them every day regardless, but it might give those who have a busy day or don't have the time to avoid missing out on a daily reward. At least to an extent as they'd still have to cap the number somewhere.
Well, that and it might help free up some people from the perpetual mouse wheel the current daily roulette system can impress upon them. You basically either remember to do the roulettes and then get to do whatever else you want to do, or miss out on an entire days worth of bonuses. :confused:

Pretty sure One of the answers in the Live Letter was that they were looking into making the Roulette doable 7 times in a day, but instead of resetting daily, it'd reset weekly. Same reward as in a 7 day cycle, but those that cant play every day arent missing out.

It would defeat the purpose of Roulette to allow you to "save them up".
The entire purpose of Roulette is to provide an incentive to help other players. Especially High level, low level, and MSQ content. If they allowed you do essentially do all your Roulettes in a day, then queues would be great on Tuesday and Wednesday, but abysmal Thursday to Monday. -

Don't you think that it would be Sunday and Monday that would be busy then, rather than Tuesday and Wednesday? If it resets on Tuesday (like all reality does in this game), then you'd have 1 roulette saved up only, while on Monday you'd have 7.
In any case I think it'll turn out fine. Sure some folks will knock it all out on Monday, or at least near the end before Tuesday. However I think that for the people who actually care enough about tomes/more exp enough to do anything but the ex roulette, they'd be doing all the roulettes every day as soon as they came off cooldown, to get the most immediate benefit. It would really help those of us who are unable to get all the roulettes on some days due to lack of time, but on other days get through all of them and have lots of time left with nothing to do. Additionally, for people in serious endgame statics, it'd allow them to focus more on raiding more quickly after the reset (such as Alex Savage), then on less serious raiding (like Alex NM/new 24 man raid), then finally could finish it up by the end of the week. -

If it was a "save up" thing, then for the first week it would be towards the end of the week. If it was a "you get 7 allowances a week that reset every Tuesday", then it would be at the beginning of the week.
Either way, it doesn't matter how it was implemented. What you would end up with is 2 days of good queue times, and then 5 days of horrid queue times, completely defeating the entire purpose of Roulette. -

Then maybe they can do it like you can only have 1 saved in the bank at a time during the week, with the weekly reset putting everything back a 0- even taking away the one you have saved up. For example: resets on tuesday, you have 1, forgot to use. Wed. you get another 1 with 1 in bank totaling 2. Come tuesday, resets back to 0, whether you had 1 or 2. Message will say you cannot accrue anymore until you use one. Think of companies that give vacation time. You accrue so many per pay period and can accrue up to a certain amount totalm but once you hit that amount, you stop accruing until you start using some. So you can't stockpile an insane amount. makes people pay attention. "why did i have 2 to day and 2 yesterday...OH S**T, gotta use one". Would also make people use roulette more, increasing help for newbies doing dungeons, double the experience and money. that would be better

They would probably need to nerf the rewards for the extra runs. First run of the day gives full bonuses and any of the additional runs the same day up to the cap/saved limit is 50% or something so it would still benefit us more to run them once a day but the weekend warriors would get a little help in playing catch-up.

Also they could do something like:
- You lose all saved up tries on the reset day. So you can save up from Tue till Mon, but anything that you would carry over on Monday, would be gone. That would prevent people from doing 7 of them on Tuesday and then none.
- Or they could make it give lesser rewards if you do more than one in a day, like 70 tomes instead of 100 for low level, which would still "force" people to do them every day, but would also give something to people who can not play on some days. -

Yeah was thinking the same if it stores up make an incentive for daily runs but at the same time give those that don't get a leg up with a reducing bonus.

I don't know why people are worried about how others play. I've always felt like when people say, penalize that person cause they can play more than me, their just jealous. This isn't directly toward you, cause there was another saying to reduce the reward as well. It shouldn't matter if someone plays more than you and will burn through them all in a single day, there will still be plenty of players all week long who will be doing them. Kind of reminds me of when saying Tomes shouldn't have a weekly cap, and then people say "Well if there wasn't a weekly cap, people would gear out in a week and quit", lol everyone is so worried about others.
