An Idea for new glamour.

To the Developers responsible for armour.

Would it be possible to have armour glamours based on the primals, like we have for Odin. That would keep ex primals relevant and we get some potentially wonderful glamour.

We need a Garuda outfit following her feather lines! Though i do admit an Ifrit mask with flames or even a full set I would love, blackmages and summoners using a Ramuh robe set.

This is such a good idea....why are we not funding this!?!?

Please pass this along to the development team.

It's unfair that our chocobos can dress as primals, but not us, SE! Been wanting Shiva's outfit since Shiva got released. >.<

Not that I think of it, it's actually quite a surprise that they haven't done something like this yet. Perhaps with savage mode for all the primals? Eh?

Why not? The primals have consistently been some of the most entertaining fights in FF14 so far, might as well breathe new life in them for higher levels. And since the reused assets end up not being very resource intensive for the development team, it's unlikely to actually get in the way of any completely new content being developed.

Holy crap you guys have just given me some great motivation for coming up with primal armor! It could be something we do for the Halloween event or something since that's about demons and stuff irl. Oh man, creative juices are exploding out my ears!! @w@ Not straight up cosplays, but more like how weapons are handled with them keeping the aesthetic of the being.

Someone would inevitably put on the Ravana armor and macro all the lines of his song to their rotation.

Wow... that's a pretty neat idea.

But I don't want an exact copy of lets say Garuda's look. Lets take the Monster Hunter route and make it so its equipment that looks like it was made out of the primal's body.

Just thinking about a scalemail that matches ifrit weapons glow or an armor made out of ice is making me giddy.

I've thought about this 2 years ago and made some sketches before Alexander and Diabolos was in game. There's also a thread on it on my Signature.

As long as theyre actual drops and not crafts, im up for it.

As others said; I'm really surprised this hasn't been implemented yet. I'd love to see my SMN or NIN running around in some "Monster Hunter"-esque armor. Ramuh, Mog, and Garuda would make amazing caster armor, with Levi, Ravana, and Ifrit being fantastic DPS armor, just to name a few thoughts! Oh the possibilities!

I don't see why not. The existing primals already drop crafting mats.

I could totally see this as a thing.

Oh, and I could also totally see each piece in the 5-piece set being a crafted item requiring the Ex primal's mat drop. Five Inferno Horns for the Ifrit set! Maybe throw in some Dragonskin Map exclusive drops to the recipe just to rub it in that this is armor that's going to cost more than a Medium house...

I can see it being a mix of both. Much like the primal weapons that drop are nice looking as glamour, if you want them to really shine (Fire spewing from the weapon or a windy vortex) has to be crafted by desynthing the drops for materials.

honestly i'm against them being drops unless they're token based, and if their crafted we can finally have a use for all of these ifrit/inferno horns lying around...

I would think that it could work on a token system and you get some from HM and Ex.

We must have our voices heard. Developers, pretty please with sugar on top.

I am so sad that I can't find a glamour for the Ravana PLD weapons.

Gotta keep hope alive for primal armour. The new PvP items are not a viable glamour option. Keep the primals relevant, so I can get the black coreal.

I know it won't happen, but primal themed items for each class (i.e. ifrit robes, armor, leviathan robes, armor) would be sooooo nice instead of having to choose one!
