Visiting "Unaccessable Rooms"

Is it just me or is this strange that the Guards before Merlwyb's Room or the other Leaders let you not visit their Rooms.
The Guards still think we're "Unknown Adventurers" even if you completed the Heavensward Story.

It's clear you have to earn their Trust and yet at some Point you should be able to visit their Areas after a Part of the Main Story.

Let's be honest, most adventurer's are never as well-mannered as we are in the cutscenes. We'd be rummaging through their drawers looking for loot and jumping up and down on their desk in no time. God forbid we were ever allowed into their private chambers...

And no matter how big that big-ass sword is, you won't stand out in a crowd. Nobody ever crosses the street to avoid you or seems to be especially shocked or alarmed when a heavily armed gang bursts into their house during dinner, rummages through their posessions, and demands to know if they've seen a black-caped man. People can get used to anything, apparently.

I wish games actually had that in them for the AI lmao. Would be awesome.

But you do enter those rooms.
Just not whenever you want.

In fact all 3 are major parts of the storyline that you visit on multiple occassions. And Kan-E doesn't even have a room, it's a clearing in the forest with a pond.
Also you get to enter Aymeric's private room in Ishgard a few times.

What are you looking for? More freedom in the game to go where you please? At least lore wise, it's fair to them to have their privacy. How would you like it if Ishgardian Knights burst down your inn room door in The Forgotten Knight just because you're an Au Ra and you're under suspicion for being a dragon heretic? Actually, don't answer that.

The guards are very clear that any time you are permitted into the private chambers of the leaders, it's because the leader invited you in and they have been told to expect you.

Basically, access is granted by appointment only.
