Tank that charge in before being buffed
Not avoiding avoidable shit.
Beyond raids (where sometimes mechs make it where they cannot/should not be in medica range) all this does is make me afk less in dungs which to me is whatever.
Tanks that pull an entire dungeon and wont use a single cooldown!
People that run off before i put buffs on the group.
Bards who have their feet glued to the floor in wanderers minuet who won't take it off to dodge aoe and take about as much damage as the tank with the boss. No worries, I'd hate to trouble you and your deeps to move, I'll just use some of the tanks emergency lustrates on you! 2 secs later, tank takes massive damage spike and goes down to 1000 hp and I've got zero lustrates. Yuuuup.
Tanks that try to speedrun a dungeon they are new to
Or that run to the next mob right away when im low on mana (and dont have aetherflow up when SCH) because he pulled too much that previous time and didnt think to use defensive buffs.
Getting cleaved by enemies the tank is holding, especially when that cleave interrupts Holy or Cure II/Benefic II. The most recent offender is The Curator in Fractal Continuum, when tanks try helping with adds and end up getting our faces clawed off.
Also, people that don't learn from mistakes. If people keep dying or getting walloped by the same damage sources, they lose my pity nearly as fast as I lose MP. If you were curious about how that tail swipe tasted, that's fine by me, but if you go back for seconds, you're on your own!
Tanks who go in pugs and then bitch and moan because the healers can't keep up with the massive pulls. If you want a healer who can do that, go in as a Pre-Made you idiot!
Ranged that are always a million miles away when I'm medica-ing the rest of the group...
By no one's fault, but still annoying - when some party members are not in the vicinity - such as WoD Cerberus stomach or A4/Floor 4 in Quarantine and I keep thinking I can still heal them because I'm able to still select them in the party list and there's too much going on to see if they're actually even on the field >_> And even when I do see and acknowledge that they're not reachable, having to sit on my hands while I'm watching their HP go poof is paaiinnffuulllll....
(I have no idea how many times I've tried to heal the MT or DPS that are in Quarantine... even when I see the symbol next to their names... >_> must.... heal....! >.<)
When I'm just left to be munched on by heavy hitting/cast interrupting ADDs - and people wonder why everyone died as I lay upon the floor.... >_>
When people stand right under Twin (and not having Conflag).
Every time I miss an opportunity to Healer LB because I've not been wired to look for LB3 ._. *weeps tears of regret in A4*
When people give a million excuses after dying a million times. Lag - thats fine. Oopsied - okay thats fine. But after the 50th time, followed by lots of 'lol oops' and making light of the amount of MP they're making me waste, I wish I could be their next cause of death. :|
My biggest is definitely as mentioned the tanks pulling too large in new dungeons, then getting pissed at me for not keeping them alive. Sometimes it's late at night and it's like one last quick roulette before bed while I'm half asleep. If you want a speed run then premake your party! Also echoing the comments about ranged that are too far. When it's one off on their own compared to the rest, I usually just leave them. Same with some boss fights where one DPS will like run in and on the side while everyone is at the entrance, so Protect and SS miss them. I'm like whatever, don't want it don't take it, not going to go chase after you to hit you with protect.

*silently fumes*
1. Tanks - they pull 10 enemies, they're under geared and/or they don't use any of their defensive cool downs. They take damage like their gear was made of paper towels and then they get pissed at me when they die.
2. Tanks - they charge off full speed before receiving any buffs (Protect, Stoneskin, Adlo, etc.) like they have rampant diarrhea.
3. Tanks/DPS - they blame me for their avoidable death. For example, I had a bard the other night in Alex who died TWICE to the laser/sniper mechanic, where if you move, you die. Had the nerve to rage at the healers for that.
Off tanks that insist on standing in front of the boss with main tank when it's not a boss that requires it.
Pure Vitality? No Power? Prepare to heal EVERYONE, and everyone's OK with that, and I'm not OK with that.
Bonus points if tank has no clue. :D
Being on a dd class, and watching other healers do stupid shit.
Like them dying needlessly to mechanics because they are constantly typing in party during the fight.
I know people like to be social but when its an extreme and people are trying to farm.
Please stop typing, concentrate, and win.
Another big one is when I'm in a wide-scale fate or raid like CT and people don't heal someone whose dying.
(I always try to heal everyone around me when I'm on my main but I need to level other shit too!)
So I hate when people are tunnel vision and you see the "outside" tank on the Fate is dying and nobody does anything. I'm like GDMIT why am I on MONK again!?
Other minor ones are people pulling agro / whms spamming medica 2. Then they complain at why they die and I'm face palming like why can't you understand how threat works? You are a healer of all things. You see everything. You should know that spam is bad.
....I can't play anything but healer because even on a dd class. When I'm doing a rotation and focus target is up. I'm like >.> staring at that Tank's HP. Like it's my life goal. Gotta get that mantra. lol
DPS doing equal damage to all the mobs, like its a boss fight mechanic to kill them all at the same time. The longer the mobs stay up, the more damage the tank takes, the more I need to heal, the more risk of tank dying.
When I'm 80% though my Stoneskin II cast and the other healer Swiftcasts it. (╯°Д°)╯︵/(.□ . \)
Warriors thinking that Deliverance is the tank stance. Then getting mad when they die while trying to tank 6+ mobs in the new dungeons.
Tank gets a few groups of mobs and stops.
DPS and myself burn some cooldowns, rdy for some combat
HoT placed on tank and DPS start dpsing and.....
Tank decides he's not done pulling
Assigned tanks to heal and the other heal need constant help to keep his/her tank alive. Or a whm / astro that will only regen their tank and not the other.
When I rez you in a boss fight and you just die again.
When a melle gets cleaved with the tank...
Cure III
Melle runs away from tank.
¬_¬
Dps in low level dungeons standing there spamming heals on themselves after they take one hit and I've already thrown a Cure on them. ._.
Tanks that cast Stoneskin on themselves when I'm clearly already casting it and have been consistently throwing it on them between pulls (this was more annoying when traited SS was a thing, now it's meh).
The conspiracy by melee dps to split up and run in all directions as soon as I start casting Cure III.
Tanks getting heals off on themselves just before my Cure II lands and wasting my mp. :(
Pure STR tanks? But doesn't do crap? Get ready to heal the tank even more and everyone else. And everyone is OK with that, and I'm not OK with that.
Bonus points if the tank assumes it's a perfect world. Even more if the tank is a paladin.
Tanks thinking they have a bad healer because you allow them to get low hp in dungeons, when you are doing it to get dps in.
It actually makes a big difference in dps, I've seen tanks go from 200-300 dps in vit accessories to anear 500 with str. And pld is hardly behind war/drk with the new dps rotations.
Though I do think they should only use 1-3 str accessories, more hp means more dps from healers.
Partying with that AST that played the Balance on me yesterday, or the one who saved up for AoE Spire. Like, dude, what are you doing.
Edit:
I parsed my Astrologian DPS the other day and it came out to about 670 DPS. I'd wager Scholar pulls better. Unfortunately, we don't have much space to do DPS when we have to spend more time keeping the tank up.
What on a dummy? There is no way you can pull 670 while having healing duty's.
When you have people who ran a dungeon before and think they can survive mechanics (ex.prey in Aery) but when they get unlucky and die there like WTF??
1. WHM's who do not use HOT abilities or use them correctly (including Medica 2)
2. Healers who do not use cross skills available to them that will aide the group
3. Healers who are afraid to DPS
4. Healers not using Divine Seal (yes there are many)
5. WHMS who are BAD and give our class a bad name.
6. Bad WHM's who cannot handle there mana problems
7. SCH's who don't give credit to the other healer for picking up there lack of healing when they are DPSing but instead criticize if you're not doing it correctly.
In reference to buffing that does irritate me too, I'll cast protect and stoneskin on everyone then the other healer casts Protect/Stoneskin 2. I just wanna look at em like "Really? Was it needed? Are you trying to seem useful now?"
You people actually get upset because the other healer or caster that can cast protect / stoneskin does it after you? lol, wow that's petty.
Or when you've already buffed the entire group and the other healer suddenly wakes up and buffs them again. No, dude, I already did that...it's a facepalm moment.
That and it's also lazy and bad. Lazy because what the hell were you doing while I was sitting here individually Stoneskinning everyone. And bad because how in the hell do you not see that people are already buffed? If he misses that simple fact while we're all standing around waiting, what is he going to miss out on mid fight? It doesn't bode well.
As everyone knows as a White Mage, you can swiftcast stoneskin ii and then do protect really fast after. This is minor but I always get so annoyed when there are a few people viewing cutscenes meaning you can't cast anything on them, but the other healer keeps trying to cast protect or stoneskin. Such a waste of time I'm always thinking just fricken wait a sec!!!
