Get this several times a day, usually ~30 min or so. Never any other 90k error, just this exact one.

Ive got this since last night! Error 90002!... Been playing this game for 7 weeks more or less every day and i different hours, without any problem. So yesterday i exit the game to switch to headgear logged in and then i get error 90002 dc after a min time after time it repeat it self... Dunno what to do? Im currently re-installing the game...
mine started a day or two ago as well.
I've been experiencing disconnects from the server for the last half hour. I can't stay logged in for longer than a few minutes.
Same here, get disconnected 5 minutes after logging in with the 90002 error. Game completely unplayable at this stage.
Same here (PS4, have the game since launch, no problems)
It started after the maintenance of July 9th. Error 90002 every 20/30mns.
Does anyone know what causes this? Would the next maintenance / patch fix this?
I've been having this issue as well. Can't stay connected for more than 1 minute or so.
I have the same problem. Began Saturday 11th, yesterday. I already reinstalled the game, did ipconfig/flush and rechecked my router. All other games work fine so this is a FF14 issue.
I have the same problem since yesterday. It's really annoying, I can't do a dungeon or anything else.
Hope the next maintenance will correct this problem.
Mine started yesterday only in duty.
I would also like to add that I get the DC symbol every 20-30 seconds or so without d/cing until I eventually get 90ked out.
No lag what at all either.
would really like a solution.
bump..still a huge issue
Started getting these after the patch update.
Any reason why im seeing the D/C Symbol even when im not d/cing?
ever since the emergency maintenance, I can't even stay logged in for more than 5 mins. Constantly getting 90002 errors...I've never had them before, ever :/
I got it after today's emergency maintenance. Not only did I start getting 90002 error, but also continuous lag spike or unresponsive in-play game. Oh, btw, NA forum is responding slower than usual too.
Only just starting getting heavy D/C errors after the most recent maintenance myself. When in a dungeon I started to engage a group of mobs after like 5 seconds i started stalling out for 10 seconds at a time constantly.
Two weeks now have not been able to login at all. Try every day several different times a day. But SE still collecting my sub fees . hmmm sounds a bit one sided to me.
I been getting these 1 patch before HW cameout, I've tried EVERYTHING....went from Wifi to cabled, changed modems, changed settings on my ps3, so tonight I'm Formatting and going to ONLY install FF14. Before the patch I was able to stay logged in for days without any DC issues.
bump, still an on going issue
On going issue, please fix this. Randomly getting 90002'd
Just happened to me as well guys. Seems there is at least 2000 other people at well sharing my pain.
Server is Balmung. Happened as I was leaving a duty.
Been catching this since Friday the 17th. Been playing again since January or February, had no disconnect issues tell now. Far as I can tell from connection logs via router, for what ever reason xiv spikes(almost three times its normal pull), drops connection(0 inbound 0 outbound) then struggles to reconnect just before an error 90002 usually fallowed by a error 2002 client crash.
Side note i have already looked at it being the amd driver update 15.7, if anything I'm running dx11 smooth now. But with said update installed dx9 is a no go at all, game won't even load.
So w/e this is it s a server side to client side issue >.<;;

I am getting this problem after the ISP maintenance. My boyfriend can connect fine and play for hours we are in the same house same internet he is wired and im wireless but every time i connect after like 2 mins i get DC'ed with the 90002 error. My boyfriend tried the ipconfig solutions still didnt work.
Same. 90002 started since the "ISP Maintenance".
This only started from that point.
Me and my friends are also getting this issue a lot now on Ragnarok server. Only started happening over the past couple of weeks with absolutely no issues before that. Usually happens during a duty and i've ended up losing a whole party finder training party because of it.
I've been suffering with this for a week or so now, incredibly frustrating. Even worse today......
Having the same problems on PS4 for last 2 weeks. Would like to get gear from alex and new tome gear, but lagging and dcing too much to do anything.
Had this issue since 3.0
Happens A LOT when i am in an instance. I have tried-
-Restarting router
-Reinstalling FF
-Flushing DNS
-Changing DNS to google's DNS rather than ISP default
-forwarding ports
-disabling time sync as some people have said
-added an exception in windows firewall
-uninstalled my anti-virus software
-tried dx9 client and dx11 client
-tried using wtfast and pingzapper; it disconnects these too
Extremely Prominent since 3.05, unable to go into instances during peak time without disconnecting every 1-5 minutes with 90002
I can say for sure that it is FF due to the fact that i have a ping running to the NA server constantly and it does not drop any packets or fail to ping during these game disconnects, and during these disconnects other programs teamspeak, IRC, steam etc do not disconnect
I hope this can be fixed soon, more information about it brought to light or even a work-around figured out as its making the game impossible to play
Been getting this a lot since Alexander launched a couple weeks ago, and about a half dozen times in the past few hours.
Been getting them since Heavensward Launch, they've become increasingly prevalent as the patches have come. No end seems to be in sight. Please fix this, Square Enix.
the past two days been getting this non stop
Well it seems to have disappeared for me. Lasted 2 or 3 days after the maintenance a couple of weeks ago and vanished suddenly. Still no idea what causes this but I'm glad it's gone :)
Yup, same her. Constant 90k and some 10105 errors.
I was fine this afternoon, but now I'm lagging and dc'ing constantly.
Been having this damn code since alexander landed, reinstalled game router and ISP is fine its really only this game and to be honest it kinda takes the piss. Can only hope the hotfix sorts the issue because its the kind of thing that leaves a negative impression. From what i understand the games in a healthy financial position, time to invest in more capacity methinks
Oh Wow, This is the same problem I am having. I can't stay logged in at all.
Is there anyway we can get a blue response on this issue? Me, my cousin and my girlfriend all play this game together and love it. The only problem is that we have not really been able to play for almost a week now because my cousin just randomly started getting 90002 disconnects. Sometimes it just keeps disconnecting him every 5 minutes, with no warning. We have tried port forwarding as well as a plethora of other fixes and nothing seems to work. We can play League of Legends perfectly fine, we can Skype perfectly fine and he can stream anime sites, ect. perfectly fine. We cannot, however, play this game perfectly fine and we just so happen to be paying to play a game that DOES NOT work (all the other services I mentioned are completely free, have more people using them and work perfectly). The issue has been growing and growing and it has been the top post on the Techinical Issue forums for a while now. I have also seen several post about the 90002 disconnects over on reddit for the past week as well. They did a ISP maintenance earlier this week and I was confident that it would solve the problems, but honestly they have actually been MUCH WORSE since then. This seriously needs to be addressed soon. When WoD launched the game was down for about 3 or 4 days for ALOT of people and everyone got refunds for all of that time and Blizzard addressed the issues immediately. Square hasn't said or done anything about this and I am starting to worry they won't.
Ive had these disconnection issues too and very-very bad lag. I've had to run away from certain zones (I cant go to the hinterlands) in order to try and avoid getting disconnected from what I assume is some kind of overload. I've never had this trouble before 3.05 hit.
Lag spikes so bad that I will be fighting a boss in a fate, I will freeze and by the time i unfreeze it is dead and my whole team is already at another fate halfway done. These lags do follow me into instances as well which can be pretty scary as a healer. And Im constantly worried Im going to start getting the 90k chain again.
