Would it be good thing for MCH if the cooldown of Reload went from 60 seconds to like 5 or 10 seconds? I feel like if it did then the DPS for MCH wont suffer so much gauss barrel or not

5-10 seconds would be too much and it's uptime too high.
As a 60 MCH I actually think that would be absolutely too much. I would prefer something like 40-45 seconds, but even 10 seconds would allow infinite spamming of abilities without care which I think would be too much.
Maybe if you only put in, like, one bullet.
Personally, I'd like to see 45 seconds. It would allow reload to line up nicely with Rapid Fire, Blood for Blood, Hawks Eye and Wildfire every other time it's used. Right now it only really lines up with Hypercharge. Sadly, outside of our opener, our buffs don't really line up too well, which leads to a lot of downtime and spamming of split shot hoping for a proc.
45 or 30 would be pretty ideal. Would allow us to keep up our DPS or extend our overall bursts a little better. Quick Reload is fine. And if I may be slightly off topic:
Gauss Round: Can we have some kind of "This is a powerful shot" animation, like Head Graze? Right now, aside from damage numbers, it doesn't even look like anything hit.
Rook Turret: Can we have a Magitek Bit-style laser sight? We know it's there, we know it's working, but it just. . . doesn't seem like it.
Suppressive Fire: Please change/remove the effective range of it. It's great to have a stun, but in situations like stunning a Dreadknight in T5 for example, I had to get in close to stun it, only to become its target. At range, my probability of survival would've been a bit higher. Also, the slight wind up on it doesn't make it as instant an effect as Head Graze. It's only maybe a second, but that second counts.
Wildfire: Trigger/detonation animation please. We barely even hear it go off. Cooldown on that could also be a bit shorter (not much, but enough to be utilized more effectively).

Being real here - MCH damage is fine.
The "RNG" of procs is a hilarious arguement - 50% chance to proc for 40/60 more potency.. lol, get real - that makes a difference oh like 5 dps.
45 seconds would line up with cooldowns and would be enough. Quick reload should stay the way it is.
Man they just took our toy gun and gave us a cannon and people still whining MCH is fine. Don't need no more buffs.
You sure notice that 50% every time you get five split shots in a row with no proc, which seems to happen more often than you'd think.
But I agree our damage is fine. I was just thinking of the change as more a QoL change so it lines up better with buff phase.
And for those saying Split Shot is only 140, you have to add Increased Action Damage to that. It's actually equal to 168 potency (which is higher than most base potencies) or 192 with ammo.
And while I agree we don't need anymore buffs myself, I still scratch my head at why every has to be a jerk about it in their rebuttals.

either way, procs arent the bulk of thr damage, so if you get very little its noticeable but the proc run wont be+400 dps or anything
Lack of procs is the difference between like 50~60 dps tops.
If 50 makes or breaks it when it comes to savage, you can make that up with fight optimization.
200+ dps on the other hand.. is a gearcheck.
The 2-1-3-2-3 rotation I came up with (later adapted to 1-2-1-3-2-3 thanks to someone here; wish I could remember their name) is beautiful in that if you Reload before it, it's all guaranteed procs. No Reload? A natural proc + Quick Reload can allow you to go into it at almost any moment. And if Reload comes off cooldown as you're going along, you can instantly transition into 1-2-1-3-2-3. Obviously keep up/open with Hot Shot & Lead Shot, weave in your buffs, prime Wildfire, and it totally works, Gauss or no Gauss!
It's still imperfect, and I'm still trying to commit it to muscle memory, but I've seen myself do significantly better DPS with this. I'm interested to learn of any other rotations anyone has come up with! :D
I would really like an animation for wildfire. It's hard to see the damage and sometimes I miss it.
As for reload. It would be nice if it were shorter to line up with wildfire but 10s is absurd. Since the GB fix patch my MCH has been dealing some pretty beastly damage.
Yeah, it's been nice. Hit a nice 7k+ wildfire yesterday on second boss in Fractal. Always fun to see. But Wildfire really is hard to see.
