Raid without a PLA?

Is it possible to do Warrior + DK for the two tanks for raiding now?

Are's static is Drk main, and War OT.
We have no issues with anything that's out and cleared everything besides savage as its not out yet.

Depends on the situation as I'm levelling up both my PLD and DRK for raids that depends on what would be more useful.

You can complete any raid/trial with any combination of tanks. The biggest advantage that Paladin brings to the table nowadays is Clemency and Hallowed Ground (which allows you to avoid/simplify certain mechanics like Liberation Preys on Ravana Extreme), but they aren't required.

You can certainly use DRK+WAR based compositions, and they'll get you through any current, and likely future content just fine, but as things are now, PLD will always be a superior choice to have over DRK in your party composition.

Glad to hear PLD is still a superior choice over DRK even though any combo of tanks can be used. Excellent!

Having familiarized myself with Divine Veil it is an awesome ability and is a great add-on to the Paladin toolkit and is an advantage to bring them as well.

Because people are lazy. And among all 3 Tanks, Pal is the laziest, cheesiest and easiest tank to tank and heal out there.

Well... it's true. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. Paladin is the stone from which all other tanks will ultimately carved be evaluated based on. And having such an easy to play, accessible standard to work with helps to make the tanking role, which has been often neglected by many players, much less frustrating to get into.

That said, there comes a problem when a class as simple as PLD is better than another tank in every conceivable way that matters, especially if that tank requires a much higher level of execution to play at an appreciable level. This happened with WAR in 2.0, and now DRK in 3.0.
